Another MTV Divorce

Maybe celebs should start realizing that doing a MTV reality show in the early years of marriage is not a good idea. Dave and Carmen just split, poor Nick and Jessica couldn't make it and now the Barkers are finished as well. The cutest thing about them was their kids but I was never a huge fan of this show. Anyway, let's hope those kids turn out OK. People reports:

Through her publicist, Moakler tells PEOPLE, "My only concern right now is for the welfare and best interests of my children."

Sienna Brings Her Wizard to See the Stars of Tennis

Lots of famous faces were out in NYC over the weekend to take in the US Open. Tennis lover Anna Wintour had her eye on her friend and your favorite shirtless player Roger Federer, while others like Gavin Rossdale, Nicole Kidman, and Keith Urban took in matches of their own. The biggest headline of the weekend, however, was 17-year-old Melanie Oudin who entered the tournament unranked and became the youngest American to make the US Open semifinals since Serena Williams in 1999! Sienna Miller brought her guy George Barker, aka DJ Slinky Wizard, along for a game as well. They were partially occupied with their own PDA, which we've come to expect after their loved-up antics on a boat in Italy last month.

Sienna Seems to Have Found Herself a Slinky Wizard

Sienna Miller was home in London earlier this week following her well-dressed worldwide press tour for GI Joe, and she was spotted on her way to Gatwick airport Monday with her new guy, George Barker. They apparently met recently and have bonded over their shared love of music - George performs as DJ Slinky Wizard. The duo were off to Ibiza, where Sienna had lunch with friends in her bikini today after introducing him to her family at her ex-stepmother Kelly Hoppen's house. Sienna's said before that she's trying to be more conscious about her love life, and with Balthazar hopefully gone for good, Sienna's ready to step out with her latest guy.

DJ AM and Travis Barker Update: Expected to Recover

A positive update after the tragic news about the plane crash DJ AM and Travis Barker were lucky enough to survive that sadly took four other lives. Travis and DJ AM have been treated for second and third degree burns at Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia and are expected to fully recover from the horrific event.

They released a joint statement expressing their deepest sympathy for the families of the deceased and request for privacy at this time. This morning the doctor from the hospital where they are being treated spoke to the press and announced, "Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn't suffer from any other crash-related complications, a full recovery is expected." He also added DJ AM was burned on his arms and part of his head while Barker was burned on his torso and lower body. We wish these two survivors a speedy recovery.

DJ AM and Travis Barker Critically Injured in a Plane Crash

Last night DJ AM and Travis Barker were both critically injured in a Learjet crash in South Carolina after playing a show in Columbia, SC earlier in the evening.

The air traffic controllers saw sparks as the plane was taking off and it went off the runway onto a nearby road where a witness saw flames bursting from the scene and two men (DJ AM and Travis Barker) attempting to extinguish the fires on themselves. The plane had a total of 6 passengers and the other four were killed. The witness said there was no way to help the others on the plane who have now been identified as: pilot Sarah Lemmon, co-pilot James Bland, and Barker's assistant and bodyguard, Chris Baker, and Charles Still. The local news has video of the wrecked plane. DJ AM and Travis Barker are currently in stable condition and being treated for severe burns.

Biggest Headlines of 2008: Travis Barker and DJ AM's Plane Crash

We've been counting down the biggest headlines of 2008, and we'll be revealing more throughout the month of December. We hope you enjoy this look back at some of the posts and stories that created the most buzz throughout the year.

One of the more shocking news stories of the year happened late on Sept. 19 when Travis Barker and DJ AM were the sole survivors of a plane crash in South Carolina. The crash took the lives of four people including the two pilots, Barker's assistant Chris Baker, and his bodyguard Charles Still. After escaping from the burning plane, Travis and AM were rushed to the hospital with severe third degree burns. Later investigations alleged that a faulty Goodyear tire was possibly the reason for the crash, and Travis - who revealed he'd always been scared of planes - is currently suing the owners and makers of the Learjet.

In some ways, the tragedy turned out to be a blessing in disguise for DJ AM. While he was being treated, doctors discovered a potentially fatal blood clot in his leg. His ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore was at his bedside during treatment, and the two have since rekindled their relationship. Since leaving the hospital DJ AM has worked the turntables onstage with Jay-Z and celebrated with a welcome home party with proceeds going to the victims of the crash. Travis and DJ AM are expected to perform onstage together for the first time since the crash on New Year's Eve in LA, and we hope that 2009 bodes well for them as they continue to recover.

Taylor Dances With and Hangs Out With Stars

Taylor Swift had a fun-filled weekend in LA with Taylor Lautner, but she's also been busy with all kinds of work. She was out on Sunday to film a new commercial for Band Hero along with Travis Barker and Pete Wentz, and yesterday Taylor was dressed in a pretty floral dress to appear on Dancing With the Stars - make sure to check out her performance. There was also time for a radio interview, when she opened up about her potential new boyfriend by saying, "I don't know, he's an amazing guy and we're really close. . . and ah. . . yep." Taylor finally had a chance to treat to herself to dinner and dessert with Selena Gomez after the long day, and the girls certainly had some things to discuss considering their shared history with Mr. Lautner.
