The Smiths, Jennifer and Keanu Stand Still on the Red Carpet

The Smith family all came out to support Jaden at the big premiere of his movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. He was joined by the movie's big name stars Jennifer Connelly and Keanu Reeves who looked like they were having a blast at the premiere...ha. Sexy Jon Hamm had his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt on his arm, though methinks Mad Men fans might be disappointed to see he's not playing Don Draper this time. It's hard to match the enthusiasm of the Smith family when they get on a red carpet and it sounds like they should get used to cheering Jaden on considering he may be the next Will Smith.

Great Will Shares His Goodwill With North Carolina

Will Smith was in Charlotte, NC, yesterday for the latest screening of Seven Pounds. His film isn't out until next Friday, but there will still be some Smith family action at the box office this weekend with the release of his son Jaden's The Day the Earth Stood Still. Even without the company of his costar Rosario Dawson, there was plenty of Will's goodwill to go around. Like his other recent premieres, Will organized a food drive to go along with his appearance keeping up his charitable holiday spirit.

Jon Hamm Lands in LA, Leaves Don Draper Behind

Jon Hamm is very sexy suited up as Don Draper in Mad Men, but dressed down, he's still handsome as seen here making his way through LAX on Wednesday with Jennifer Westfeldt. The couple brought their good looks to a red carpet earlier this week for the premiere of The Day the Earth Stood Still, and they can pencil in another event now that Jon's scored a Golden Globe nomination. Jon didn't get a chance to make his acceptance speech at last year's awards thanks to the writers' strike, but maybe this year we'll get to see him take the stage for his second win in a row. While the show is coming back next yer, the show's creator has yet to sign on another season, but a few awards could be just what he needs to get back to work on one of our favorite shows.

Will Smith brought his big smile to The Late Show last night, as he continues promoting Seven Pounds in NYC - check out Buzz's review here. The actor joked that The Day the Earth Stood Still might be number one at the box office right now, but Jaden won't have a place to live if Will's own movie doesn't fare better than his son's. We all know how much Will enjoys the friendly competition he has with his kids, but the father must be so proud of his rising star for following in his footsteps.

Jennifer Connelly didn't let the cold weather stop her from showing off her toned legs as she made her way into The Late Show in NYC last night. She's been all over the world during the past few weeks to promote The Day the Earth Stood Still, which hits theaters a little sooner than her other upcoming movie He's Just Not That Into You. David Letterman seemed pretty pleased to have the gorgeous Revlon model sit down for a chat, and she opened up all about a recent near-arrest at a London airport and her family - all the while showing of those impressive stems and her chic booties.

The Private Lives of Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves was looking scruffy cute as he grabbed lunch and took a smoking break in NYC this week. His Street Kings came and went from the theaters, but he's already moved on to his next projects, The Day the Earth Stood Still and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. Shooting on the latter movie is already underway with Blake Lively, and we're sure it won't be long before Keanu joins her, Winona Ryder, and the rest of the cast. With two more movies on the way, let's hope Keanu can keep his large fan base happy for the next year or so.

Keanu's Career Is Definitely Not Standing Still

Keanu Reeves made his way to Universal Studios in LA yesterday with his lunch in hand. He's been keeping a pretty low profile in public these days, but is clearly hard at work. Right now he's doing The Night Watchman, and he's just signed on to do a remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still, where he will play an alien. We like him better in the sci-fi genre than in the romantic comedies, so hopefully we'll have another Matrix coming our way.
