Lauren Conrad was up early this morning to chat with the ladies of The View and promote LA Candy. When asked about Spencer's apology on The Hills, Lauren revealed that it was staged and she wasn't actually on the other end of the phone call. In the past she's said that the show's producers were pushing a Heidi reconciliation on her, and it's definitely not the first time we've heard about scenes being fake.

Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Bosworth grabbed lunch in LA on Thursday before meeting with Stephanie Pratt at Delux later that night. The cameras were rolling the whole time for new episodes of The Hills and Stephanie even twittered a pic of the trio, though she reassured fans she and Lo still love Lauren. Kristin's already found conflict with Audrina Patridge, and apparently she's getting paid well for all her troublemaking — according to Life & Style, she's raking in $63,000 per episode.

The new cast of The Hills continued filming on Friday after their Mexican fiesta fun earlier in the week. Stephanie Pratt, in her shorts and heels combo, took a moment to strike back at Paris Hilton for insulting their show before joining Audrina Patridge for lunch. Meanwhile, Kristin spent some time with her ex boyfriend Brody at Enoteca Drago.

Kristin Cavallari joined the rest of her new cast mates to film scenes for The Hills at Pinches Tacos in LA yesterday. Lauren's last episode airs on Sunday and Audrina Patridge told Ryan Seacrest that she's already fighting with Kristin on the show, saying "it's really pathetic and desperate what people will do when the cameras are around. .

This week we'll get to see Lauren's last episodes on The Hills, with tonight's regular episode and a finale that will air Sunday before the MTV Movie Awards. She's been the star throughout its five-year run, but the program will soon go in a whole new direction when Kristin Cavallari joins the cast. A few plot lines need to be tied up, namely Lauren's long-running feud with Heidi and Spencer, so things might get interesting.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt filmed scenes for The Hills at Santa Monica Pier yesterday. The duo looked tanned, back from their Mexican vacation and in the fresh California air they were free to roam sans swine flu masks. Heidi tweeted about how much fun she had, and it's clear from these photos that the couple is still basking in newlywed happiness after their recent nuptials.

She was in one of her usual designer-heavy looks Friday to film The Hills with her sister-in-law Stephanie, who recently revealed that Heidi wants to have 4 boys. In case you somehow missed it, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt tied the knot in LA over the weekend (check out a ton of photos here), and Kristin Cavallari was one of their many guests. The former Laguna Beach star also just happened to catch Heidi's bouquet while the cameras were rolling. Last time we asked you were pretty split on whether she would be a welcome addition to the cast.
