Lindsay Lohan and her movie I Know Who Killed Me set a new record at the Razzies, walking away with eight awards. Lindsay even won two Worst Actress trophies because she played a character suffering from a split personality disorder. At least she didn't go empty-handed over the weekend! - BuzzSugar

Self-Enamored Sharon Not Ready to Self-Mock

Sharon Stone was happy to make her presence known around Los Angeles this weekend (see Independent Spirit Awards, Elton John's Oscar Party, the Vanity Fair Party), but she just couldn't find the time to stop by the one award show where she was actually a winner (loser?) -- The Razzies. Basic Instinct 2 dominated the show, while Sharon herself took home, or didn't take home considering she wasn't there, the Razzie for Worst Actress for her role in the film. Sure, the Razzies are given away for the worst performances of the year, but there should always be room for a little self-deprecating humor (see: Halle Berry's acceptance speech when receiving her Worst Actress Razzie for Catwoman), especially when the movie that you're nominated for is as universally mocked as Basic Instinct 2. I'd make a light hearted plea for Sharon to get over herself, but I think that may be too much to ask. Plus, Cruella de Stone sort of terrifies me.

Jessica Gets A Nomination

Jessica and Ashlee sported matching hairdos this weekend in LA. While the two seem to be in a great mood we're not so sure Jess will be happy about her latest news. She was nominated for a worst actress Razzie Award for Employee of the Month. The Razzie Awards give prizes to the worst actors and films and joining Jessica in her category are LL for Just My Luck, Sharon Stone for Basic Instinct 2 and the Duffs for Material Girls. We're betting Sharon Stone takes home the actual award.

Tom Cruise Tops Razzie Nominations

Seems like Tom Cruises new publicist has not turned on the charm in 2006. After the Katie sex scenes scandal in Sundance, he has now been nominated for 3 Razzies including Worst Actor and Tiresome Tabloid Target.

While the Razzies are not the Oscars, they are still pretty popular these days. Some celebs actually get it and can make fun of the themselves but for some reason I don't see Tom showing up to accept his awards unless of course he has something to preach about at the time.

Also on the list of nominees, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Will Ferrell, and Jennifer Lopez. The Razzies like to come out the day before the Oscars just to remind us that along with all the wonderful acting we should recognize, there is a ton of crap as well.

Does Lindsay Deserve Multiple Razzie Nominations?

Oscars nominations are being announced tomorrow, but today it's all about the Razzie's. Lindsay Lohan's I Know Who Killed Me picked up nine Razzie nominations, including Worst Movie of the Year and two nominations for Worst Actress of the Year for Lohan (yes that is two since she supposedly played two different characters in the movie). Based on the reviews and box office, we're not all that surprised, but nine nominations seems like overkill. What do you think - does Lindsay deserve to be nominated as the worst of the year twice?

It's Not the Oscars, But Paris Cleans Up at the Razzies

Paris Hilton was typically decked out on Saturday night for a meal at Mr. Chow after she spent the afternoon hobnobbing with pals at Barry Diller's pre-Academy Awards bash. The weekend was full of Oscars mania, but Paris ended up taking home some statues of a very different kind. She won three Razzies, accomplishing the impressive feat of winning both Worst Actress for The Hottie and the Nottie and Worst Supporting Actress for Repo! The Genetic Opera. Paris seems to take criticism in stride and maybe staying off the nominee list in future years could be a good goal for her acting career.

Paris Hilton Is a Razzie All-Star

Paris Hilton looked a little bit like a wax figure of herself posing at the opening of a Bliss boutique in Tokyo today. She was in good spirits waving to fans on her way out, despite rumors that there's another sex tape on its way to the public. She does have some nominations to celebrate - or not - this week. While she was passed over by the Academy for an Oscar nod, she was recognized more than once by The Razzie Awards in the worst actress, supporting actress, and onscreen couple categories. At least Paris seems to have a sense of humor about that sort of thing and who knows, maybe she'll pull a Halle Berry and show up to accept the awards herself.

Kate Bosworth Shops Off the Sting of a Razzie Nom

Kate Bosworth and her friend went out for a quick shopping expedition before the Chanel Couture show in Paris yesterday. Kate may have been unfortunately nominated for a Razzie this week for her work in Superman Returns, but I think that's a little harsh.

I would, however, like to nominate her gray knee-length jean skirt (really, Bosworth? Okay) for worst supporting article of clothing in an outfit. Amazingly, those ankle boots were also nominated in the same category (perhaps I don't understand ::jazz hands::fashion::jazz hands:: ). FYI, the frontrunner for the award (which exists...in my head) is still MK's shoes.

While today is the most important day in Hollywood, yesterday was another notable day. The Razzie Awards were announced and these awards recognize the worst films of the year. Awards like worst on-screen couple went to Nicole Kidman and Will Farrell in Bewitched, and Worst Supporting Actress went to Paris Hilton. No wonder Joel Madden filled us in on their exciting news - petite pregnant Nicole was not only glowing in her yellow dress, but her growing belly was also comfortably showing last night at an Oscar party. Joel announced Harlow was getting a sibling this weekend, declaring his excitement as "better than winning an Oscar!" They partied with friends like Razzie-winning Paris, who wore her favorite style bullseye dress, DJ AM, Ryan Phillippe, and more.
