Nicole was looking cute and casual while out in LA the other day. She and Paris may both be dealing with their own legal troubles at the moment but their reality show goes on. The two are back to causing a raucous at every camp they visit. With all their personal troubles I almost forgot The Simple Life was back on the air already. We want to know, are you tuning in to watch Paris and Nicole's latest escapades?

Paris and Nicole: Hard At Work

Paris and Nicole were really putting in the hard work hours on their "reality" show this weekend. Doesn't it just look...authentic? I mean, most reality television is pretty staged, but The Simple Life may be the worst culprit of all (did you catch last season's finale? Awful). And seriously, I thought the girls were at camp this season. At what camp is this appropriate attire? Shopping camp?!? Sigh. Perhaps camp has changed since I last attended...

P.S. Nicole may have had a nasty split with sylist Rachel Zoe, but does anyone else think Nicole looks exactly like Zoe in the pink dress? It's a little scary.

Nicole is Getting Better

Nicole sought help for not having an eating disorder about a month ago, and even ditched her stylist in order to live a healthier life. Now sources are confirming she really is making excellent progress and that she's gained 5 pounds. People reports:

"She has (put on) at least 5 lbs.," says a source close to the actress. "She wants to prove she's trying to change."

Richie, who before seeking treatment had dropped to around 90 lbs., hit the American Music Awards last week in a short vintage Christian Dior dress with the help of new style consultant Cristina Ehrlich looking "much healthier," said an onlooker.

Now she's ready to shoot the fifth installment of her reality show The Simple Life, which was postponed due to her treatment. Says her on-again pal and Simple Life costar Paris Hilton: "She looks better than she's ever looked. I love it."

So, it would seem, does Richie. "She’s doing great," says a friend who spoke to her over Thanksgiving. "She's taking care of herself and is in a good place."

Nicole is still looking skinny, but we're happy that she really is gaining weight and getting healthy. More pics so just read more

There's No Stopping Paris

This girl is everywhere. Here are Paris and Nicky doing a photoshoot for Samantha Thavasa handbags. They look so innocent and sweet.

In other Paris news, E! has renewed The Simple Life for a fifth season. The show will air in 2007. Of course they have no idea what the format will be yet but I am predicting Nicole and Paris make up. In fact Janet Charlton reports that the feud between the two was so great for headlines that maybe this is just another fake thing Paris is doing. Besides, she was seen leaving Nicole's place recently. Maybe it was to decide on the next season or maybe we are all being punk'd by these girls.

Breaking News: The Simple Life is Fake

WTF, The Simple Life is fake. How could we have ever figured that one out. Paris is saying the show is fake - shocker! We also know her tan, hair, eyes and more are fake. The question remains, is her singing fake as well? Check out her album cover below and more on her admitting being a fake. The Scoop reports:

‘Simple Life’ is a reality show and people might assume it’s real. But it’s fake,” the partying heiress told the London Sun. “All reality shows are fake basically. When you have a camera on you, you are not going to act yourself.”

Hilton says she created her “Simple Life” personality by combining characters from two hit films. “Before I started the show I thought I’d make a character like the movies ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘Clueless’ mixed together, with a rich girl all-in-one,” she explained. “Even my voice is different and the way I dress is different from me in real life. It’s a character I like to play. I think it’s carefree and happy. The public think they know me but they really don’t.”

Nicole Returns to The Simple Life

Nicole leaned on Joel as she tottered out of LaScala in Beverly Hills in her insanely gorgeous platform wedges. Earlier in the day, she was seen leaving a television studio -- Supposedly something to do with The Simple Life. In the new season, she and Paris are playing camp counselors, so they can impart all of their celebrity wisdom to impressionable young girls. Sounds hilarious yet so scary. In the meantime, she's living her own version of a simple life with Joel and I must say she is looking fabulous these days. I'm loving her latest look, the new do, the cute dress, her basic black Balenciaga and did we mention those shoes?! Things are going well again for Nicole these days.

Paris & Nicole Are Happy Campers Again

Can you believe Nicole and Paris did an AP interview? We can't either but the BFF were promoting the 5th season of The Simple Life and some of the quotes were so funny we just had to share them. Here's more:

On how they prepared for camp
Richie: We actually didn't prepare, which I guess was a problem because we were wearing heels and just not camp-appropriate things. But during the fitness camp we wore sweats a lot which was a nice break.
On the camping experience:
Hilton: I think just being the camp counselors is being a lot different from actually having to go to camp as a kid. But I don't know. I didn't really like the camp life either. I'd rather go to Europe for the summer.
On the success of The Simple Life:
Richie: I think that originally people thought "Oh, this is going to be about two spoiled blond girls that don't know how to do anything and make fun of people," and that's not what it's about. If anything, we're making fun of ourselves. We're very different. We're very opposite, so it's a good balance, you know, between the two... She has strengths where I have weaknesses and I have strengths where she has weaknesses and it really creates a good dynamic.

For some reason, we're not surprised that Paris and Nicole didn't take well to roughing it in the wilderness - if they showed up as our camp counselors, we'd probably be asking for our money back.

Paris and Nicole Heading to Fat Camp?!

Nicole Richie was spotted at Mr Chow showing off her blonder more Paris-like look the other night. She's been busy filming The Simple Life 5 with her BFF and we had hoped the rumor that the girls would be working at a camp for overweight kids was untrue, but no such luck. It turns out that someone somewhere actually thinks it's a good idea to unleash these starlets on a group of people with body image issues. Let's hope they are considerate of their future co-stars and act like proper role models. Ah, wishful thinking.
