Mary-Kate Has Many Outfits For Every Red Carpet Occasion

Mary-Kate Olsen looked put together and pretty in white and a little more mussed up in a short flowered number at last night's NYC premiere of The Wackness. Can't blame her for the unbrushed hair when we can clearly see she just slipped out of one dress and into another. She missed the LA Film Festival premiere of the movie on Tuesday, but was happy to pose alongside her costars Olivia Thirlby and Josh Peck. While we anxiously await this one on the big screen around the country, I can't wait to see Mary-Kate on one of my new favorite shows Samantha Who? next season. Here's to more acting and fewer negative rumors from this half of the twins from here on out.

Hilary Duff Smiles and Stays Cool

Hilary Duff flashed a smile for the camera with Josh Peck and Olivia Thirlby at The Wackness premiere during the LA film festival last night. Hilary has a new movie of her own to start working on, she has just signed on to the star-studded cast of Stay Cool. Hilary will play a high school teenager who flirts with an older alumnus, which sounds like it should fit right in with the former teen queen's new mature persona.

Mary-Kate and Her Wackness Are All Over Sundance

I haven't seen Mary-Kate Olsen either in person or on the big screen here at Sundance just yet, but her movie The Wackness is the talk of the town. The good news is that the reviews I've been hearing are mostly positive (yay!) despite the fact that the title is so horrible. Park City isn't the only place where MK is super popular these days either - rumor has it that she was quite the little flirt on the set of the movie last summer. Plus, she looks so happy doing her thing at the festivals, premieres parties and all, love it. Fingers crossed this means we'll be seeing her and Ben Kingsley's Wackness in theaters all over soon.

Mary-Kate's New Movie Sounds Wacky

MK looks cute and cozy with co-star Hunter Parish in these promo shots for Weeds. While we're eager to see her on the show, MK is already working on a new movie, The Wackness with Ben Kingsley. The movie sounds a little bizarre and even includes a passionate kiss between MK and Ben, which is kinda creepy considering their 42 year age difference. Our hopes aren't too high for this one, but we're still very excited to see MK on Showtime. Check out our first glimpse of MK as a Christian girl with a bad side after the jump.

Chace and Mary-Kate Are Curious About Benjamin Button

While the stars of the movie didn't make it, some big names hit the red carpet at a NY screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last night. The movie scored all the big Golden Globe nominations walking away with five total. Mary-Kate Olsen's role in The Wackness wasn't quite recognized by the HFPA but she was happy to come out and see the unusual looking film. Ciara pulled off a daring dress while Chace Crawford stepped it up but skipped the tie. At least he didn't have Taylor Momsen with him as a date since we agree the age difference is a bit much. While the movie doesn't hit theaters until Christmas day, audiences are already pretty curious about seeing it.

Mary-Kate Goes by Ashley and Dreams of Bikini Time

After her PDA-fest with boyfriend Nate in NYC on Friday, Mary-Kate Olsen jetted over to the West Coast for the Radiohead concert at Hollywood Bowl last night. She wore plaid as usual and a knuckle ring from her Elizabeth and James line. To help promote The Wackness UK release this weekend, MK gave an interview where she talked a little about her personal life and dream afternoon. Here's more:

On whether people confuse her and Ashley: "Not as much, no. But sometimes if I'm out I'll say I'm Ashley or if I'm making reservations for restaurants instead of saying my name I'll use my sister's! Actually most of the time."
On what she wishes she could do: "I would love to be able to swim in the ocean in Malibu. But that is asking for a bikini shot. That's inviting something that I don't want to happen. I don't need to be on a Who's Skinny, Who's Fat, Who's Looking Healthy, Who's Not Eating?' list."

Hopefully MK can sneak in a dip in the ocean before the Summer is over. After all, she could just tell everyone the bikini photos are Ashley.

Cheer Up Mary-Kate, You Made the PopSugar 100!

Mary-Kate Olsen looked a little somber on her way back to her car after running errands in LA yesterday afternoon. While MK didn't actually end up with an Emmy nomination this morning for her work on Weeds, people are still loving on The Wackness. Though it's too bad she skipped the London premiere - it's always fun to see how she pulls it out for the red carpet. No matter what, MK keeps it interesting, which is why I'm happy to see that for the second year in a row she landed a spot on the PopSugar 100.

Mary-Kate Talks Gandhi, Spencer Pratt, and Jet Lag

Mary-Kate Olsen kept up with her new strategy - all smiles all the time! - on her way into The Late Show yesterday. She looks gorgeous showing off the grin alongside those stems. Olsen teeth used to be a holiday, but now it's standard fare, and that cheery attitude carried right on into the studio to chat with Dave promoting The Wackness. MK was admittedly a bit jet-lagged flying straight from the Samantha Who? set but still managed to be charming and funny talking about making out with Gandhi. Plus, she admitted that she went to high school with Spencer Pratt but didn't have much positive to say about that - check out the video below. Love her.
