Jennifer Aniston continued filming The Baster in LA yesterday after spending most of last week on set. She's been in California completing the movie with costar Jason Bateman, though he took a break to premiere Couples Retreat in Germany last night. As she and Jason put the finishing touches on their shared project, she has a few months to gear up to show off her vocal skills when production starts for her next movie, The Goree Girls.

Jennifer Aniston made it three days in a row working on reshoots for The Baster in LA on Friday. Despite having to deal with more rumors about a secret meeting with Brad Pitt, she was all smiles with her iced tea in hand. Last week, Jennifer made the list of the top ten bankable actresses in Hollywood and it sounds like her costar Jason Bateman might be a good investment too - his Couples Retreat opened at number one at the box office.

Jennifer and Jason Are Still Basting Away in LA Land

Jennifer Aniston was joined by her costars Jason Bateman and Juliette Lewis on the set of The Baster in LA yesterday. The gang is back together for some reshoots, but they didn't need to make the trek to NYC where they shot the rest of the movie earlier in Summer. Jennifer showed up with a smile yesterday amid the news that she's one of the most bankable actresses. This weekend, however, it's Jason's turn to see how he fares at the box office with Couples Retreat - check out Buzz's lukewarm review here.

Jennifer Aniston was back on the set of The Baster in LA yesterday to shoot scenes for the unfinished project - see her look here. Jennifer had a smile on her face, despite yet another round of annoying and untrue rumors that she had a secret rendezvous in NYC with her ex husband Brad Pitt. She's used to the gossip mill by now, of course, and apparently her sense of humor about the stories is something she shares with her The Bounty costar Gerard Butler. Jennifer has a break before starting her next movie, The Goree Girls and lucky for any studio with Jennifer on their side, she's the sixth most bankable actress in Hollywood.

Jen Aniston Knows How to Manage Her Career

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman were back to work on The Baster yesterday, and Jason got another visit from his daughter Francesca between takes. While Jen's got her hands full with her upcoming project, she's pulling double duty promoting Management at the same time. In a recent interview she talked about breakups, projects, and what she'd be doing if she weren't an actor. Here are highlights:

On an awkward breakup: "I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant. The whole restaurant started applauding and I was like, 'Get up!' It was horrible."
On what she'd do if she quit acting: "I would say, probably something in the health industry. It's too late to go to medical school. I'd travel. I'd go back to the years that I never did what I'd wish I'd done, which was travel Europe and backpack. That sounds slightly romantic. What I would do? I don't know. Maybe become a chef. There's so much more to do. It's almost overwhelming. I've gotten to a great place in my career."
On how she chooses her films: "You've got to really love the project. I just left home after I built up my house for 2½ years. I moved in for a month and now I'm here. I don't want to do the same thing over and over. It's not about, 'Oh, it's going to be a big hit.' I don't want to do that."

Whether or not Jen chooses blockbusters on purpose, she's proven that she knows a thing or two about making hit movies.

Her costar Jason Bateman was one of the many celebrities at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in DC this weekend where he was asked about what it's like to kiss his old friend Miss Aniston. He joked, "It felt ... It was a good scene, I'll say that. It was a good scene. . . It's nice to finally work together. I think we just had one scene in The Break-Up. It's been a lot of fun." Before we get to see the fruits of their fun, we'll see her getting cozy with Steve Zahn in Management, which hits theaters in limited release this weekend.
