The Lakers Win Means a Jovial Celebrity Crowd
The Staples Center was filled with laughter last night as the Lakers handily beat the Rockets in game five of the Western conference semifinals. Leonardo DiCaprio, who has been a dedicated fan throughout the playoffs, recently showed his loyalty off the court by donating money with Kate Winslet to support Titanic's last survivor. Mark Is Ready to Drive That Golf Cart Down the Aisle
Marky Mark hit the golf course in LA yesterday for the Callaway Golf Foundation Challenge with other stars like Don Cheadle and Gabriel Aubry. As the golfers putted around the course to benefit cancer research, they also took the time to talk about other issues dear to their hearts — like their families. Gabriel mentioned that Nahla needs a sibling, while Mark opened up about his upcoming wedding.
Johnny and Tim's Sweeney Todd Meets NYC
Johnny Depp put on a dapper suit with some snazzy red accents (but kept the scuffed up shoes) for last night's NYC premiere of Sweeney Todd. Of course, his partner, friend and director Tim Burton was there to show off his newest masterpiece, but both gentlemen's ladyfolk opted out. Also flying solo for the evening was new dad Sacha Baron Cohen, though I can't blame Isla for wanting to stay home with amazingly adorable Olive.
Ashlee and Some Handsome Men Are Hot Travelers
Straight-faced was the word — other than Ashlee Simpson (best PR week EVER!) — at last night's Conde Nast Traveler 8th Annual Hot List party in NYC. Pete wasn't by her side, but of course Ash wore a loose LBD for the soirée, wouldn't want to stop the chatter after all. Cutie Damien Fahey and a stern Milo Ventimiglia were also solo for the red carpet while Adrien Brody (love him) had his hot little girlfriend Elsa Pataky cozied up next to him.
