U2's new album, No Line On the Horizon will be released on Tuesday, and the band will be playing on The Late Show With David Letterman on all five nights next week. It's a new twist on late night music coverage and most of you are into the first video from the album for "Get Your Boots On," but how do you feel about five nights of U2 - awesome or overkill?

All charges were dismissed against Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright after they were arrested in a bar brawl with cops in Shreveport last July. - TMZ

Sundance Brings Out the Stars

While our girls Molly and Buzz are checking out all the goodness at the Sundance Film Festival, Park City has been chock full of celebrities showing off their new films. Emily Blunt joined cute father/son duo Tom and Colin Hanks at the premiere of The Great Buck Howard, while Bono and his fellow bandmates supported their U2 3D. Adorable Elle Fanning held her own at the premiere of Phoebe In Wonderland, and Jack Black was unsurprisingly perfectly comfortable showing off his dark roots for his new movie Be Kind Rewind. Obviously there are lots of exciting movies and stars all over the film festival, so be sure to check back for updates from Molly and Buzz about all the movies and any hot gossip that comes their way.

Bono Receives Honorary Knighthood

Bono is becoming just as famous as a philanthropist as he is as a rock star. Not only is he always trying new and innovative ways to adapt with the changing times (like debuting a new song and video on YouTube), but he is endlessly doing good deeds around the world. As a result he has been awarded an honorary knighthood from the Queen of England. Check out the super cool video below and here's more:

“Her Majesty The Queen has appointed Bono to be an honorary Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in recognition of his services to the music industry and for his humanitarian work,” the embassy said in a statement.

Fellow Irish rocker Bob Geldof, also a high-profile rights campaigner, received the same award in 1986. Honorary knighthoods are awarded to non-British nationals.

A statement on the U2 Web site said Bono was “very flattered to be honored, particularly if the honor ... opens doors for his long standing campaigning work against extreme poverty in Africa.”

Something tells us this is just the tip of the iceberg. Who knows what kinds of things he'll accomplish in the year to come.

Stones Trump U2

After Madonna rocked my world, U2 is my second favorite show. I love seeing them live. While I have not had the chance or really the desire to see The Rolling Stones, I can see how they took the top title this year as the top grossing tour knocking U2 off the #1 spot. Here's more:

Since August 2005, the band have grossed $437m (£226m), playing 110 shows in front of 3.5 million fans. The Stones' success comes despite the tour being dogged by delays and cancellations due to throat problems for lead singer Sir Mick Jagger, 63.

Irish rock group U2 previously held the record for the top-grossing tour, according to Billboard. Their recent Vertigo tour grossed $377m (£195m).

Sugar Bits - Naomi Campbell Sued Again

Naomi is being sued again by a former maid who alleges that the supermodel assaulted and yelled racial slurs at her. I guess she'll have to get a new t-shirt made. - People

U2 won a court battle against a former employee who had attempted to sell a bunch of Bono's memorabilia in 2002. She claimed he gave it to her, but the judge disagreed. So, does that mean we won't be able to buy his stuff? - AP

Bono is the latest celebrity to show up in St. Tropez. Maybe he is celebrating the fact that he was voted the most influential pop star of the last 25 years. This is the result of a Rock Royalty survey to help MTV celebrate their 25th birthday. MJ and Madonna came in at second and third.
