Hollywood Ladies Get All Dolled Up For UNICEF

The red carpet at the Oscars was host to plenty of amazing dresses, but some celebs took their fashion sense elsewhere this weekend. Reese Witherspoon, Eva Longoria, Sienna Miller and Emily Blunt all opted for strapless gowns at the Montblanc Signature for Good Charity event in LA on Friday night. The ladies' big hearts matched their good looks as they mixed and mingled for a cause, adding some extra star power to the biggest weekend in Hollywood.

Sarah Jessica Toasts to Water

SJP shimmered in blue last night to kick off World Water Day in NY. She teamed up with Esquire to launch UNICEF’s Tap Project, an initiative that offers NYC diners the option of donating $1 for their usually free tap water. The money will go towards a program that helps bring clean water to children in the developing world. SJP definitely loves working with UNICEF and we love celebs getting behind good causes. SJP Trick-or-Treats to Make a Difference

SJP will be trick or treating for the children this year. The fashionista is a big supporter of UNICEF as well as their Ambassador, and she reveals it's actually one of her oldest childhood memories. We all know little James Wilke is very special to SJP, so it makes sense that she's passionate about a charity that saves children's lives. We also love that she matched her pretty blue dress to the UNICEF colors. Here's more:

"I am not making this up. My oldest memory is trick-or-treating with UNICEF," she said to ABC's Diane Sawyer. "What UNICEF does is it goes to the children that are most in peril, countries with man-made and nature-made crises, and changes lives," Parker said.

Parker will be trick-or-treating with him on Tuesday, but she won't be in costume. "I haven't for years. I just can't abide it. I'm so old," she said. "I'm so happy to walk around with these UNICEF boxes and with my son and try to go monitor his candy."

Beckham Continues to Impress Us

We all know what a fabulous dad David Beckham is, so it's no surprise that the children of West Africa warmed right up to the soccer star while he was in Sierra Leone as a UNICEF ambassador over the weekend. When he wasn't showing off his soccer skills and being sweet with the kids, Becks headed to health clinics to learn more about why the country has such a high mortality rate for young children. David also spoke about the urgency of the issue, saying:

We can't turn a blind eye to the tens of thousands of young children who die every day in the developing world mostly from causes that are preventable. Saving these children's lives is a top priority for UNICEF and as an Ambassador I hope I can help to draw attention to this issue across the world.

Beckham usually catches our attention no matter what he does, and hopefully seeing celebrities like him and Orlando Bloom representing UNICEF will inspire others around the world to lend a hand. Lots more of a hot Beckham so read more

Rihanna, Madonna, and Blake Support Kids and Gucci

Rihanna was on hand to light UNICEF's Snowflake in NYC last night before hitting the red carpet in a more dramatic gown alongside Blake Lively and Madonna. The snowflake marks the beginning of holiday shopping season, which we've already gotten a great start on around here with all our fabulous gift guides. Rihanna was also there to officially launch her Tattoo Heart Collection for Gucci, which also benefits UNICEF. The dresses were varied, but Madonna certainly stood out in her unique green LV number, she is the face of the brand after all, on a break from her world tour tonight in Philadelphia. She has a few nights off after that, and according to court records, she will be officially divorced as of tomorrow. As for Rihanna, we'll get to see her strutting her hot stuff on stage this Sunday at the American Music Awards.

Rihanna Lights Up a Snowflake With Her Big Tattooed Heart

She's been working with Gucci for her white Tattoo Heart collection benefiting UNICEF - including the most recent video ad for the philanthropic line after the jump. Most of you loved seeing Rihanna steam it up with JT in her new video but it's great to take notice of her beautiful sweet spot for charity too.

Salma Wants to Pass on Her Big Heart to Valentina

Salma Hayek helped UNICEF and Pampers launch another year of their vaccine campaign in NYC yesterday. She played with the children and helped decorate artwork while taking time to speak at the event. Salma spoke about her recent charity trip to West Africa and about how she wants Valentina to grow up to be a philanthropist. She said:

"When she grows up I'm going to make sure... when I continue to do this work that she comes with me and that she is in touch with all of these beautiful people and all of the different kinds of people around the world and that she continues to be a generous and caring person. I think that's the best thing I can give her as a mother."

Nicole and Joel Celebrate and Let It Snow

It was a long Saturday night of twice the photo ops for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. They looked cute all dressed up to light the UNICEF Snowflake, but let loose at a party celebrating the release of Good Charlotte's greatest remix album. Benji Madden may not have Paris on his arm anymore, but Nicole was right there to step in and ham it up for the cameras. Nicole and Joel seem ready for the many parties in the upcoming holiday season, and hopefully they can keep single Benji smiling into the new year.

Salma Hayek Looks Great While Doing Good

Salma Hayek left Fashion Week and Francois-Henri Pinault, her ex-fiancé she's so friendly with, back in Paris as she traveled to Geneva for a press conference yesterday. She spoke at the UN building about her long-standing involvement with Pampers and UNICEF, who have partnered in their efforts to eliminate tetanus in newborns. Salma opened up about how deeply she's been affected by her work with the program, which will someday make her baby girl Valentina very proud.

Inside the Very Star-Studded Madonna Malawi Gucci Bash

We saw all the million celebrities on the red carpet last night at Madonna's Gucci/Malawi/UNICEF benefit, but the real fun was on the inside. J Lo looked fabulous and glowing with her gorgeous hair and ready to pop babies bump having a laugh with Tom and Katie. Madonna let her mini (and growing!) me Lourdes wander the festivities alone while she played hostess to the star-studded bash. Wouldn't mind getting that up close and personal with Orlando, you? Birthday Boy (with Ashton) Chris Rock got an eyeful of Rihanna on the red carpet, but the stunning starlet was probably too nervous about her big party performance to even notice. She said, "I've never met [Madonna] before...I hope I don't cry." Rihanna's not the only person Madonna was intimidating (even just jokingly so) as Gwyneth said as she walked in you don't say no to Madonna "very often, she's pretty scary."
