Britney's Been Restrained and Exploited

After Britney's breakdown last week, we can't really say that we're surprised to see that she's the unfortunate cover girl of this week's magazines, covering everything from her mental illness to her children to suicide watch. The latest news on Brit is that the LAPD filed a five-day restraining order against Britney last week to keep her kids safe. Even though the order ends today, Britney still won't have any custody of the kids until the next hearing on Monday.

As for the whole Dr. Phil situation, the Spears family sent a representative to the Today Show this morning to publicly accuse Dr. Phil of violating their trust by making public statements and exploiting Britney. We still can't figure out why they ever trusted him in the first place.

Scarlett Strikes Back at Us Weekly Cover

This week's Us Weekly makes some serious plastic surgery claims about some big Hollywood stars. Inside, real-life Dr. 90210s talk about how many actresses are going under the knife. Surgeon Raj Kanodia who worked on Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, and Ashlee Simpson (the first two saying it was for medical reasons) estimates that 60 percent of Hollywood women have done it. The story isn't sitting so well with the magazine's primary cover girl, however, and Scarlett Johansson is suing the magazine. Her rep issued this statement to OK!:

"US Weekly's cover story regarding Scarlett Johansson and its clear implication that she has had plastic or cosmetic surgery on her nose is an outrageous and defamatory fabrication lacking any conceivable basis or proof, despite vehement denials by Ms. Johansson prior to publication...Not surprisingly, US magazine cannot provide the dates when she supposedly had this surgery, who performed the surgery, or what was supposedly done - all because there simply is no truth to the story. The publication made a pathetic attempt to validate its story by using two cover photos of Scarlett that were taken years apart with obviously different make-up and lighting, and then relying on an "expert’s opinion” (based solely on looking at the two photos) on what "might" have been done. It wasn't."

Scarlett herself even assured OK! that she's never been dishonest about her natural appearance. While I'm sure that so much of Hollywood has secretly (or not) gone under the knife, it's a pretty bold way to name names. Scarlett has never been the first name to come to mind when it comes to surgery and it's understandable that she's angry, but doth the lady protest too much? US Celebrates Hot Hollywood

Christina, Carmen and Kristen Bell are just 3 of the stars featured in US Weekly's Hot Hollywood Fresh 15 issue. The ladies all came out to celebrate the issue in style last night. Christina was the lady in red, and all the other girls were looking fabulous too on the blue carpet. Christina spoke a bit about her man and her baby plans for the Hot Hollywood issue. She said,

Her baby-making plans:
"I don’t like to think in terms of numbers, but I would like to have a few. I want to keep it spontaneous. But a boy and a girl would be nice. We have to get through the next year and a half, and then see what happens.”

Her love for her husband, Jordan Bratman
"Everyone should be so lucky to have that one person who lets you go to that heavy space and comforts you, and he is that person. He takes me out of my heavy places and saves me from myself.”

Us Weekly Awards draw a crowd

Us Weekly had a party for their The Young Hot Hollywood Style Awards. Not sure who the winners will be yet, but the guests included Nick and Jessica, The Duff sisters, Paris, Nicole, Jessica Alba, Tara Reid, Fergie and more. I though I would post some of the pics for your enjoyment.

It looks like Nick and Jessica are in totally different places as he is looking in one direction and she is posed all perfect for the cameras in another direction. Maybe he does not like her outfit either - she has definitely seen better days.

Also Tara Reid decided to go conservative in jeans and a top that covers most of her body - just a smidge of cleavage to tease with her fake boobs - but no room for wardrobe malfunctions for her tonight - she made sure they were tucked in nicely. However, her hair has a mind of its own.

Finally the pics did not include any of Paris and Nicole together making me believe these childhood friends are going their separate ways (like the Olsenâ€™s - so sad). By the way, does anyone else think Nicole is wasting away?
