Salma Hayek Lands in LA With Valentina and Talks Being the "Luckiest Person"

Salma Hayek led her daughter Valentina through LAX yesterday. The 4-year-old carried a plastic camera and snapped at onlookers as they headed to their waiting car. Salma is gearing up for multiple movie releases, including Savages, in which she costars with Blake Lively, John Travolta, and Taylor Kitsch.

In addition to her big-screen career, Salma also has a cosmetics line called Nuance Salma Hayek. She talked about getting into the beauty business in a new issue of Marie Claire at Work and also touched on life with Valentina and husband Francois-Henri Pinault. Salma said of Francois-Henri, "He's the best thing that ever happened to me and my work. I was trying to figure out how to have a child on my own. I came to terms with saying, '[Love] might not happen, and I have to be OK with that.' Then someone came along whom I never would have pictured or thought I would have wanted; he was completely out of my box. Even though I was not looking, I was present and I was open. I am the luckiest person I know."

Salma Hayek was hand in hand with Valentina Pinault during their visit to the Seaquarium in Miami on Saturday. The mother and daughter headed to Florida for a premiere of Puss in Boots, which took place yesterday, and took advantage of some downtime in the state to stop by the aquarium. Salma even snapped some photos up close and personal with a dolphin during the day out. The trip South was the latest for Salma in what has already been a hectic Fall for the actress. Salma attended the Balenciaga show with her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, earlier this month as they took in Paris Fashion Week. Yesterday, Salma's focus was on film rather than fashion and she joined forces with her costar Antonio Banderas to attend a special screening of their animated movie on the Allure of the Seas cruise ship in Fort Lauderdale. Next up Antonio and Salma will bring Puss in Boots to San Francisco ahead of next week's LA debut.

Salma Hayek held Valentina in her lap as they were pushed through LAX in a wheelchair Saturday. Salma and Valentina were all smiles for the airport ride, which was apparently just for fun and not due to any actual injury. The mother-daughter duo have been jet-setting all month long with stops in Venice, NYC, and Toronto, where Salma premiered Americano at the TIFF. Salma had even more to celebrate recently since last Wednesday was Valentina's fourth birthday. The youngster is already following in her mom's footsteps as a mini fashion icon, though both ladies were a little more casual for their recent outing.

It was a jam-packed weekend for Salma Hayek and her tiny travel companion, daughter Valentina Pinault. The duo began their fun in NYC Friday afternoon with a stroll through Central Park then moved onto Toronto on Saturday, where Salma joined costar Mathieu Demy at the TIFF premiere of their feature film Americano. It's her second film festival in just two weeks, having traveled with François-Henri Pinault and Valentina to Venice for the Italian film competition. Yesterday morning the girls were once again on the go, as Salma and Valentina caught a flight out of Canada and landed a few hours later at LAX. Meanwhile, Salma's husband, François-Henri, is finally speaking out about the child support allegations made by his former girlfriend Linda Evangelista. François-Henri denies claims he's been delinquent in paying child support and in a recent interview tells French Elle "at every possible opportunity he has participated in my family life whether in France or the United States."

The Venice Film Festival is under way, and Salma and Francois-Henri will just be adding to the star power of the event, which has already welcomed George Clooney, Kate Winslet, and Diane Kruger on the red carpet.

Salma may have a break before her animated film hits theaters in November, but you don't have to wait until then to hear the actress in action since the new Puss in Boots trailer was just released.
