Nov 9 2009 - 11:00am Demi Moore struck a gorgeous pose for the cover of December's
W. She's the latest member of her extended family to pose for the publication, following
Bruce Willis's saucy spread with his new wife Emma Hemming earlier this year. Demi is out and about promoting her movie with David Duchovny,
The Joneses, as well as
Happy Tears with Parker Posey.

She looks super skinny in these photos...is she really that skinny?
1She sure is beautiful!
doesn't it kind of look like her waist was nipped a little via photoshop? I mean, she's in great shape and very thin, but I didn't think her waist was quite that... narrow. I don't know. It looks suspicious to me, and I am getting tired of all this abstraction of reality.
2letter2elise!!! We wrote that at the same exact time!!! hahahhahaha
3I agree, too skinny. She looks a bit boney. These magazines are taking photoshop to ridiculous levels
4she looks really great
i know that this is photoshop but photos are adorable
!
5hawt @$$ PUMA lol...you're only as old as you act/feel...she's got the best plastic surgery money can buy...well, besides Dita's rack, those appear real to me
6she is beautiful but i agree i think these shots were photo shopped a great deal. and jaan_black demi used to have fake boobs but had them removed before charlies angels.
7oh please she's photoshopped within an inch of her life.
8Look at her hip, right above the "R". It doesn't line up with rest of her leg below the scarf. It's not even a good photoshop job.
9She's not this skinny. Yet another example of over eager Photoshop work. It looks ridiculous.
10Oh, good eye, #9. Yeah, she's a beautiful woman and they definately take away from her with the crappy photoshop.
11You could cut glass with those clavicles. SHARP!
12I like her
13HAHAHAHA.......... desn't even look like her real body, plZZZZZ LOL
14I think she's a beautiful woman, but I agree....she's already too thin, but then the photoshopping makes her emaciated.
15Wow she looks amazing . I suppose the leaches are working! LOL
16I just want her plastic surgeon...
17Hate the photoshop, but my goodness, she's still so beautiful!
18I agree way over the top with the photo-shopping but there has to be something to start with and she is a beautiful woman. However, she should have protested a bit, no?
19There is no need for her to be photoshopped she is beautiful anyway!
20Nobel prize award for photoshop needs to go to the editor of these photos!!
21She is starting to look like Jennifer Connelly-too skinny!
22I agree she seems too thin, but her size is not photoshopped. For the comment that Demi's hips don't line up (thus the obvious photoshopping) her shape has always been like that. A prime example is the images in Esquire of May 1993. For someone following Demi's career for quite some time, I feel these photos have not been altered that much if not at all. The images in V were filtered and the Helena Rubinstein campaign is obviously shopped but Demi clearly looks older in these pics...But still hot! Great Cover!
23She looks beautiful, although a little skinny. She's always been slender, and I'm sure it's just a little too much Photoshop.
24THIS WOMAN DOES NOT AGE! gosh she looks amazing! i mean i know she's clearly been photoshopped a good deal but wow! i would love to look like that when i'm 40-some odd years old!!!
25I'd pay a katrillion dollars to know her beauty secrets!
26i swear, demi does not age! i think she looks younger now than she did back in the Brat pack days...
27No. There is no photoshopping of the thigh/hip in this photo. The thigh/hip area is natural. The "dimple" is a consequence of the pose.
I found a photo of an old sculpture of a female model in the classic contrapposto pose. Although the model is much heavier, she has the dimple in her thigh/hip area. I went a step further and traced the model's outline, much like bbonyx at BoingBoing did with the Demi photo. Then, I compared the two. See the results below:

Very similar!
If the model had been thinner, you'd even see a much closer match.
