Demi Has Lots to Say About Cougars and Marriage

Demi Moore struck a gorgeous pose for the cover of December's W. She's the latest member of her extended family to pose for the publication, following Bruce Willis's saucy spread with his new wife Emma Hemming earlier this year. Demi is out and about promoting her movie with David Duchovny, The Joneses, as well as Happy Tears with Parker Posey. She sat down with the magazine to chat about her marriage to Ashton Kutcher and what she thinks of being labeled a cougar. Here's more:

On being married to a younger man: "I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl. . . I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, 'There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?'"
On being labeled a cougar: "I’d prefer to be called a puma. . . [I] Twittered it out. People wrote back hilarious stuff, saying, 'I’m going to get T-shirts that say PUMA POWER.'"
On meeting Ashton six years ago: "The most overwhelming part of meeting someone that you already felt you had such a deep and old connection with is that your feelings are greater than the time you’ve had to actually be with one another. Now we’ve had the physical time together. The love he has for me makes me a better person by giving me the courage to take risks. I can fail and have someone who loves me just the same. I never knew it was quite possible."

It's no wonder she's been off celebrating with a bikini-filled vacation in the South of France - it's actually Kate's third cover for the important magazine month, along with her appearances on the front of both the British and Russian editions of Vogue. Kate's got designs on conquering the world of TV, but she's still clearly on top when it comes to the career that made her famous in the first place.

Bruce and Emma Are Loved Up and Stripped Down in W

Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming brought their steamy newlywed bliss to the pages of W. The couple struck a few intimate poses for the magazine, with Bruce shirtless and clad in just underwear - check out all the risque photos here. He opened up a little about the love he has for Emma that changed his opinion on marriage, as well as his family and their unique bond. He said:

On changing his mind on marriage: "I went from 'F-ck love' to 'Love is truly the answer.' . . . I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, 'I’m alone, but I'm not lonely.' But I was just kidding myself. Then I started hanging around Emma, and on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier."
On his new priorities: "Where my first priority used to be work, it’s now my personal life. I hear so many people in relationships say, 'I just need a couple of days away, or even an hour away.' But I don’t want to be away from Emma at all. It’s the most singular relationship I’ve ever had in my life."
On Demi and their family: "We’ve become like a tribe. It’s generated a lot of interest because everyone can understand resentment and envy in the breakup of a marriage, but they don’t understand how I can get along with my ex like that. Demi and I made a choice to put the kids first, and we’re really lucky that it turns out we all have fun together. I still love her, and I have a lot of respect for how she lives her life."

Ginnifer Shows Her Sexy Bad Girl Lingerie-Loving Side

Ginnifer Goodwin went risque for her June cover of W Magazine. The actress was eager to show off a new side and quite a bit of skin for the shoot and in the interview she's all about dispelling assumptions that she's as sweet and ditsy as the characters she plays. Check out the whole slideshow of sexy images here. In the article she joked around about how she tricked her friends into thinking she was having her birthday at a Vegas nightclub and why despite being a vegan she still has that cheeseburger lover mentality. Here are highlights:

On stories about her: "I perpetuate rumors that I’ve dated people that I’ve never actually dated," she says with a sly smile. "Dorothy Parker once said something along the lines of, ‘I don’t care what’s written about me so long as it isn’t true.’ It’s safe making."
On love: "I know now that there are men out there who are, for me, the whole package, who are supportive of my successes because they know I will be just as supportive of theirs. I’m less tolerant of foolishness now; I know that it’s important I not tie myself up with the wrong person, because then I will miss the right person coming along."
On life: "My whole thing is quality of life. . .It must always be easy and low-maintenance and stress-free, and that means not trying to fit too much in. I don’t ever want to be in a hurry. I want to enjoy the moments."

On her new home: "I’m in a relationship with this house right now. I’m in love with it. I plan to be here a long time. I assume it’s where I’ll get married - I’ll only marry a fella who loves the house like I do - and have my first child."

Amy Adams Has Got W Covered

Amy Adams is rocking some retro glamour for the May cover of W, which hits stands April 21. The Night at the Museum 2 star sat down with the magazine to chat all about her big night at the Oscars, as well as her upcoming wedding to longtime boyfriend Darren Le Gallo and her unique look. Here's more:

On being nominated for an Oscar: "I just was so reflective the whole evening on how I came to be sitting in that room. At one point my fiancé was like, 'You feel distant.' And I said, 'I am! I can't even talk to you!' I was there at the Oscars thinking, 'What if I never left the Gap?'"
On planning her upcoming wedding: "I have a reputation as a poor planner, so expectations are pretty low. When I have people to my house for dinner and tell them it's casual, they think that means don't wear high heels, but I mean, 'You'll be getting your own forks out of the drawer.'"
On looking young: "I ordered a glass of champagne on the plane today, and the flight attendant asked, 'Are you old enough to drink?'" I was like, 'I’m old enough to worry about being infertile, so yes!’'"

Drew Barrymore Dresses in Red and Talks Grey

Drew Barrymore goes for the tousled hair look on the April cover of W Magazine. The actress is continuing her promotions for Grey Gardens, which is premiering April 18 on HBO. In the interview she talks about how this role is different for her, and we also get a look at what Cameron Diaz has to say about her friend. Here's more:

On playing Edie: "I was excited to bring my own pain to something. I mean, contrary to my happy-go-luckiness, I have so much darkness in there. Playing Edie, I felt like s---. I thought, I’m afraid beyond anything I’ve ever known. I’m miserable; I’m scared; I feel sick all the time. And I was like, Good! At least I have somewhere to put it. You know what? I’m not f---in’ happy all the time. I like making people feel good, but it was great not to have to please anybody. I was out there for myself and for her."
On her ex, Fabrizio Moretti: "[That was] one of the most, if not the most, important relationships I’ve had in my life. We’re still very close. I’m just learning who I am and how relationships work and how to make them function. No different from anyone else."
Cameron Diaz on why Drew's determination shouldn't be underestimated: "She has that delicate little jaw, you know? But she’s like a pit bull. You can’t shake her loose."

Drew sounds excited to be taking on new challenges, and we're glad that she and Cameron are still BFF despite recent rumors that they'd grown apart.

Madonna has made statements with her W magazine photo shoots in the past, including this provocative 2006 horse-passion one, but this set is hotter than ever. The superstar headed down to Rio where she discovered male model Jesus Luz. After posing for these incredibly racy - and naked! - pics, he has since joined her in NYC as her new boy toy. Looking at these photos, it's obvious that there is serious chemistry there, and after posing like this how could they not have wanted to keep it going off camera? Madonna is as desirable as ever and she can play around with whomever she chooses.

Brad Pitt Defends Both Angelina and Jen

Brad Pitt got up close and personal for yet another W Magazine cover. While he's promoting Benjamin Button, he also clears the air on all of the Jen and Angelina drama. Brad usually doesn't address the so-called feud, but this time he defends his partner while also saying kind words about his ex-wife. Here's more:

On Jen's "uncool" comment: "Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created."
On his relationship with Jen: "We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life."
In defense of Angelina: "What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all."

It sounds like Brad understands that Jen's statements were taken out of context and he balances his respect for both women while maintaining how he and Angelina fell in love.

On gay marriage: "People who are against gay marriage do not understand the very freedoms that they themselves are enjoying. What if someone said, 'Sorry, no Christianity here? No Judaism. Certainly no Mormons.' No one would stand for that, and I wouldn’t allow anyone to say that either. I’d fight them in the same way."
On how his family life changed him: "I’m scared to death of death. I quit smoking. That was the only thing that got me to quit. That was it. Done."
On the W photo spread he shot: "We have fun working together; these things bring you closer. And let me tell you, it’s really sexy to see your loved one through the lens. I went much further [than the shot of Jolie breast-feeding]. I didn’t show those."

Brad's words were clearly chosen carefully on all fronts and he manages to come off charming while navigating tricky subjects. We might even get the chance to see him tonight if he makes a surprise appearance on a taped segment for the People's Choice Awards.

Blake Lively Gets Sexy and Patriotic For W

Blake Lively looked glamorous in red, white, and blue on the December issue of W magazine. She's promoting her two upcoming indie films, Elvis and Annabelle and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee along with Gossip Girl as always. In the interview, Blake opened up about how her family helped her pursue acting and her relationship with Leighton Meester. Here are highlights:

On her supposed rivalry with Leighton: "I’ve never really had a competitive relationship in any work situation. The media is always trying to pit us against each other, I guess because it’s just not interesting to say, 'Everyone gets along; everybody just works 18-hour days and goes home to sleep.' That’s not fun to read, I guess."
On how she began acting: "My mom and dad always taught acting, so instead of getting me babysitters, they would just bring me to class. And I’m a naturally shy person, so it really helped. I would’ve just been hiding under the table, pulling on my mother’s dress if I hadn’t been in their classes. It forced me out of my shell."
On her career: "I’ve been learning as I’m going along. I thought, OK, I’ll try a movie. And I was loving films, so I thought, No, I don’t want to try TV. But now I’m loving being on the show more than I ever could have imagined. It has been just the most amazing experience anybody could ever ask for. It’s such a blessing."

Blake also admitting to loving Serena's wardrobe, and we're sure that's just one of the many reasons she's enjoying her time as a TV star.

We've been waiting patiently for the rest of the W Magazine spread and interview since first seeing the controversial cover of Angelina Jolie and initial quotes last week. Now, the article is here and while only a taste of the 21 page photo spread is out, you can check out eight of the gorgeous photos here. Love how personal and intimate they seem - the whole family looks stunning. There is also the back story on how the shoot came to be with Brad as photographer, but here are more interview highlights:

On Maddox's love of guns and knives: “My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12,” she recalls. “And I’ve already bought Maddox some things. We take him to a special shop.” She emphasizes that the knife blades are dulled so they’re not dangerous, and that the purchases are accompanied by discussions about violence. But, she says, “we also talk about samurais and about the idea of defending someone as good. We talk about everything.”
On traveling: “It’s part of how I want to raise them,” Jolie says, adding that they’ve shown no resistance to being uprooted. “If you tell them we’re getting on a plane tomorrow, they’re all excited to pack their bags, and if you say we’re not coming back for months, they won’t bat an eye,” she says. “I think they see the world as a home. I’ve seen Madd run through the markets of Addis Ababa [in Ethiopia] and not notice that it’s very poor, or that everyone is African or that he’s Asian. It wouldn’t matter to him.” If Jolie has a favorite possession, she says, it’s the overstuffed Tumi case that holds the family’s travel documents: Vietnamese, Namibian, Ethiopian, French and American passports, plus her own UN credentials.

On Brad: “I love his photography,” she says. “Some people have a hobby, and they find the quickest way to it and are very pleased with the outcome right away. But he’s someone who will really study the camera-he’ll get the most complicated one and really understand the science behind it. And he’s very critical of his own work. I’ll see a photograph and think it’s amazing, but he’ll see all the different reasons why it can be better, and he’ll work very, very hard to improve it.”
On the kids: As we wind up the interview, Jolie asks suddenly, “Want to walk around?” and adds, “You might run into a bunch of small people.” We head back to the garden, where a cluster of pétanque balls are scattered on the ground, and up to the empty pool. “I seem to have lost my children,” Jolie deadpans. She suspects they’re still where she left them, in her and Pitt’s bedroom. It’s become their favorite hangout lately. “Most nights, someone ends up in our bed,” Jolie says. “They’ve just taken over in there-especially right now, because we want them to feel that the babies aren’t special in the room. So our door is much more like a swinging door.” The Jolie-Pitt bedroom, of course, remains off-limits to journalists. And sometimes even to kids, Jolie declares. “The kids do knock before entering,” she says. “We’ve at least got that part down. Because Mommy and Daddy need some space.”
