It's a big weekend at the box office, and it seems like there's an option to fit every taste. There's action of Law Abiding Citizen, while The Stepfather offers a scare. New York, I Love You is star-studded but a little disjointed, and Where the Wild Things Are brings the children's classic to the screen memorably.

Blake Lively was one of the few ladies at last night's NYC premiere of Where the Wild Things Are. It's only Wednesday, but this was already Blake's second red carpet of the week after turning out to support boyfriend Penn Badgley Monday at his screening of The Stepfather. Blake was in rather impressive company, as Tom Hanks and Forest Whitaker also turned out to see Spike Jonze's latest film.

Britney Spears brought Sean Preston and Jayden James out to see Where the Wild Things Are yesterday near their home in Calabasas. The Spears kids evidently aren't the only ones enjoying Spike Jonze's film, as it was number one at the box office last weekend. The whole Spears clan is back in California after their recent beach getaway to Mexico, and now it's time for Britney to start gearing up for the Australian leg of her Circus tour.

Michelle Williams and her little girly girl Matilda hit the park in Brooklyn yesterday. Winter on the East Coast can feel like forever but that never stopped the mother-daughter duo from enjoying the outdoors in the city. These days, Michelle has been filming Blue Valentine with Ryan Gosling while her boyfriend Spike Jonze has been hard at work putting finishing touches on Where The Wild Things Are and keeping fans updated on his cool creative process.

Summery white was the color of choice for both Mariah Carey and Michelle Williams at the Fresh Air Fund's Salute to American Heroes event in NYC last night. Mariah arrived on the arm of her husband Nick Cannon, while Michelle was rolling solo as Spike Jonze finishes work on Where the Wild Things Are over in London. Michelle rightfully didn't look bothered by the unkind words recently uttered by the former show runner of Dawson's Creek as she celebrated a charitable evening with friends.

Michelle Williams and her daughter Matilda enjoyed another fun weekend around their home in Brooklyn, joining friends for an outing on Saturday before spending their Sunday together jogging and smiling on the sidewalk. Matilda looked happy to have her mom back in the city after Michelle's time in Pennsylvania filming Blue Valentine with Ryan Gosling, and the duo was out again this morning to grab coffees with Michelle's mom Carla. One conspicuously absent person from their fun few days was Michelle's boyfriend Spike Jonze, who's busy finishing and blogging about his film Where the Wild Things Are.
