Berlin Brings Out Celebs, Fireflies, and Elegies

The stars were scattered all over the map this weekend, between the Grammys and the BAFTAs, but yet another set of celebs headed to Germany for the 58th Berlinale International Film Festival. Ryan Reynolds showed his pretty face and his co-star Hayden Panettiere glittered in gold to represent their movie Fireflies in the Garden. As always, Penelope is beautiful in black, there for her film Elegy while Diane Kruger looked stunning and thrilled to be on the red carpet on her home turf. The festival will be going on all week, and we can't wait to see who else comes out to shine and show off their new movies.

Jake and Mark Make Nice

It looks like Jake and Mark were able to put all their differences behind them for the NY screening of Zodiac. Now they can turn their focus on more important things - like getting dressed up all fancy and looking damn good! We hear the movie is scary but really good.

The Darjeeling Limited With Marc's Special Touch

The Darjeeling Limited opened the New York Film Festival on Friday, in typical Wes Anderson-quirky style. Not only did he premiere his back story short film starring Natalie Portman at the Apple Store on Tuesday, but the night before the big screening most of the cast and some friends gathered to unveil the special LV luggage that Marc Jacobs designed specially for the movie - loving the jungle animals! I'm sure Owen was missed by the rest of the Wes Anderson gang on the red carpet. Any event with Bill Murray and Anjelica Huston is awesome, it's just a rule, even if Mr. Murray is looking a little, uh, weathered these days. Meanwhile, way to sass it up Molly Shannon! I know you don't all agree, but come on, Adrien Brody looks kinda hot at these events, right? Right?

Mary Louise Parker Goes To The Opera

While over in LA starlets got sloppy at a club named Opera, in NYC celebrities were out for the opening of the Met's 2007-2008 opera season, starting last night with Lucia di Lammermoor. Mary Louise Parker took a break from her new baby to attend the cultural event alongside Blythe Danner and Willem Dafoe. As usual, MLP looked beautiful, happy and demure (which is more than I can say for her character's behavior on last night's episode of Weeds - yowza).
