David Tells His Biological Father About Life With Madonna
Madonna confirmed today that she's in Malawi to adopt another child and has been working on the process for over a year. As she waits until Friday's ruling in her case, she brought her son David to see his biological father, Yohane Banda. It's the first time since David left Malawi in 2006 that he's seen his father, and afterward Yohane made a lengthy statement about seeing his son.
Madonna's Mama Drama Continues
In the ongoing Madonna adoption story of the month evidently the judge on her case is now set to make another ruling on David's fate next week. We thought things had finally gotten quiet with this story but it looks like it's far from over. Here's more:
Malawi's High Court said Monday it will rule next week on whether a coalition of human rights and child advocacy groups should help decide whether Madonna is fit to adopt a 13-month-old boy.
Madonna's Baby Tour Continues
Madonna has received a lot of criticism for adopting David from Africa, so she is now on a press tour to tell us more about the adoption. She stopped by The Today Show this morning and spoke about offering David's dad money to raise his son on his own, living in a racist world, and teaching David Kabbalah. The last one is no surprise since we already saw the cute little guy sporting his red string bracelet.
Madonna Saves Lives
Madonna spoke to Oprah today via satellite from London about the new addition to her family, David. The show will air tomorrow, and we're hearing that audience members were left feeling sympathetic for Madge. She was apparently very frustrated with the media and all the fuss it's creating, hoping this won't discourage others from adopting.
