Zac Efron Talks Orson Welles With David Letterman

Zac Efron looked dapper in his suit last night as he greeted fans on the way into The Late Show in NYC. He joined David Letterman to talk about Me & Orson Welles - check out video from Zac's appearance after the jump. PopSugar UK was able to catch up with Zac during his travels in London last week, and they've just come out with the second installment of their exclusive interview with him and Claire Danes. Their film is getting good reviews, including from Buzz, as Mr. Efron proves there's a lot more to his career than HSM.

Claire and Zac Share Mutual Admiration

Zac Efron and Claire Danes were out and about in NYC yesterday to continue promoting their new movie Me and Orson Welles. The duo stopped by The Early Show for an interview and later met up again for a screening at night. Zac and Claire were full of compliments for each other as they make the rounds and have some cute back and forth banter during their morning appearance - watch it after the jump. This time Claire avoided any wardrobe malfunctions in her cute silver dress. Zac and Claire have been doing their promotional work - including chatting with PopSugar UK while in London - before the movie's release on Wednesday.

Zac Efron Makes the Rounds on Radio and in Person

Zac Efron arrived in London earlier this week to promote Me & Orson Welles, and he was busy yesterday and today doing a variety of interviews. He made an appearance last night at the Notting Hill Gate cinema for a question and answer session with fans, and PopSugar UK was there to chat with him - check out their interview! He was out again this morning for a stop by the Capitol Radio studios. He kicked off his trip to England with a premiere on Wednesday alongside costar Claire Danes, as Zac's press tour goes into full swing.

Zac Efron Takes Orson Welles to the UK

Zac Efron was on the go this morning as he made his way out of London's Heathrow Airport. He was in his signature shades on his way to a waiting car, before getting red carpet ready for the London premiere of Me and Orson Welles with costar Claire Danes. Zac was able to enjoy a little downtime in LA after recently wrapping up The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, but now it's time for him to get right back to work with a press conference tomorrow - PopSugar UK will be Twittering the whole thing, so make sure to check them out!

Zac Efron Shows the Lakers How It's Done

Zac Efron was in the front row for last night's Lakers game in LA, though he wasn't just sitting since he also headed on to the court to show off his own free throw. He was joined by fellow fans like George Lopez, Khloe Kardashian, and Heather Locklear, who's set to make her big TV comeback soon on the new Melrose Place. Zac is back in California after filming The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud for the past few months in Vancouver, and he's taking a much-needed break before doing any promotion for Me and Orson Welles.

Zac Efron Gets Down to Business in LA

Zac Efron adjusted his shades as he headed out for an appointment in LA yesterday, and kept his eyes covered during a stop at the Sunset Towers hotel today. He arrived in town earlier this week, and wasted no time getting back to his social routine - attending a bash thrown by Nylon Guys in his honor last night along with Ashley Tisdale. It was the latest meetup for the High School Musical friends, who are spending some quality time together while his girlfriend and her BFF Vanessa Hudgens is off working on her new movie, Sucker Punch.

Zac Efron Heads Home For a High School Reunion

Zac Efron arrived at LAX on Sunday after taking off from Vancouver, where he just wrapped up work on The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. Yesterday he was right back into his social schedule, spotted out to lunch with Ashley Tisdale. Zac spent the Summer filming in the same town as the Eclipse kids, many of who also recently headed out of Canada. Zac might be able to enjoy a little break now that he's done with things up North, and the self-professed Twilight fan has the release of New Moon to look forward to in the near future.

Teens aren't the only Twi-hards eagerly awaiting the release of New Moon on Nov. 20. Tons of celebrities have admitted they're die-hard fans of the Stephenie Meyer series, and here's our top 20! From Jimmy Fallon's "Rob is Bothered" to Lucas Grabeel's "I Kissed A Vampire," there are plenty of spoofs to go around, but there are some serious fans in the celebrity set. Zac Efron Puts on Plaid For the Cover of Nylon Guys

Zac Efron was sadly all covered up for the November cover of Nylon Guys. While we like Zac shirtless, he still looks great even sporting his signature beanie. He's promoting Me and Orson Welles, which comes out next month - check out the trailer here. The more serious movie is a departure from the kid-friendly roles that made him famous and won him awards. Recently, Zac's been working on The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud in Vancouver. In the interview, he talks about his work, Disney fame and his natural musical talent. Here are highlights:

On Me and Orson Welles: “It’s the first time I’ve ever watched a movie [that I’m in] and in the end I’m like, ‘OK! I didn’t check my watch once!’”
On growing up musically inclined: “I was constantly singing. I would hear things on the radio and just be able to spit them out instantly, with perfect memorization and tone. It wasn’t like I took pride in it; there was no effort. My parents were like ‘Shut up. Please stop singing. It’s annoying.’”
On Disney fame: “I try not to look at all of it. You can’t enjoy or celebrate it; it’s not a real thing. The face on the lunchbox and shit-you can’t share that with your friends.”
On whether celebrity albums are necessary: “If anyone asked themselves that, then we wouldn’t have the crap we are listening to today. If your heart’s not in it, don’t do it. And don’t do it for money. That’s my philosophy.”
