The 65th Cannes Film Festival is underway, with stars stepping out for glamorous events each day. Brad Pitt hit the red carpet looking hot in a classic tux while Diane Kruger emerged in a white feathered Nina Ricci gown for the premiere of Killing Them Softly with Joshua Jackson. Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst linked up for the On the Road photocall and Robert Pattinson hit the red carpet dressed up in a suit to support Kristen's big Cannes premiere. Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Matthew McConaughey were back in the spotlight at Cannes today to premiere The Paperboy in front of a glamorous crowd. The trio was up early this morning for a photocall, where Nicole wowed in a red dress. She changed into a gorgeous Lanvin gown for this afternoon's event, which also brought out Heidi Klum in Marchesa. John Cusack and director Lee Daniels were on hand, as was Macy Gray. There are only a few days left at the Cannes Film Festival, but before things wrap up, Robert Pattinson will hit the red carpet for the second time to show off Cosmopolis.

The stars of The Paperboy were up early in France to promote their project at the Cannes Film Festival today. Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Matthew McConaughey's morning photocall comes after an appearance on the French show Le Grand Journal just yesterday. Zac opened up about filming mostly in his underwear, saying, "I don't think I was supposed to feel comfortable. It's like life. This character is supposed to be learning the ways of the world, and that can be very uncomfortable. But it's also exciting." The trio will be back in the spotlight later today, when they premiere their movie at the Grand Palais.

Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Matthew McConaughey met up in Cannes this afternoon to promote their film The Paperboy. The costars chatted about their project on the French TV program Le Grand Journal. Zac's face was freshly shaved after he took off from LAX yesterday with a scruffy mustache. Matthew, meanwhile, was looking handsome for his latest event following an appearance with fiancée Camila Alves at Baoli Beach Tuesday. Nicole traveled to the South of France during a break from filming her newest movie, The Railway Man, in Scotland. After all the anticipation leading up to Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's big Breaking Dawn Part 1 sex scene (which was so hot it had to be taken down a notch for its PG-13 rating), Kristen is jumping headfirst into more steamy roles. In her latest flick, On the Road, which just debuted today at Cannes, she really pushes the sexual boundaries. In the movie, Kristen goes topless, has a threesome, engages in "road head," and manually stimulates her male costars. On the sex scenes, she said, "I love pushing and I love scaring myself. To watch a genuine [sexual] experience on-screen is so much more interesting than when you see the tape holding up the pasties . . . As long as you're being really honest, there's nothing ever to be ashamed of."

Zac Efron carried his luggage into LAX yesterday. He covered up in a beanie and sported a mustache for the trip to France, where he's set to premiere The Paperboy at the Cannes Film Festival. His costars Matthew McConaughey and Nicole Kidman have already arrived in the South of France, joining the many celebrities at Cannes. Zac's on the go again after traveling overseas to promote his other project The Lucky One for much of April. He popped up in London and Berlin for press before the movie's solid opening at the US box office last month.

Justin and Jessica Get Loved Up at the Lakers Near Kim and Kanye

Zac Efron Takes His Bandaged Hand to Berlin

Zac Efron stepped out in a sophisticated George Clinton suit for the Berlin premiere of The Lucky One yesterday. He was joined by his costar Taylor Schilling, who walked the red carpet alongside him in a black Alaia dress. Zac also sported a bandage on his left hand. Zac injured his hand, and joked earlier this week that the wound was a result of being bitten by an overzealous fan.

Zac and Taylor are already enjoying success with The Lucky One, which opened in the number two spot over the weekend, and have been making appearances at the film's many European premieres. Zac will soon wrap up this round of press duties, but he'll be back at it again later this year when his next movie The Paperboy hits theaters.
