Mischa walked the streets of NYC yesterday looking just as adorable as she did when she took off with Ziggy from LAX this week. The trip isn't all fun and games for Mischa - yesterday she headed over to Macy's to fulfill her duties as a Ked's girl. I guess the promotional tour explains her fancy new hair. She's so stylish just walking down the street -- in fact, she looks like she could be shooting a commercial right now.

Mischa Livin' on the Edge of Fashion Disaster

What is Mischa wearing? No, seriously, what is Mischa wearing? Is it on correctly? Is it legitimately intended to be worn over shorts? Is it what one would usually throw on when walking her dog in the park? To answer that last question, no. Mischa catches a lot of flack round these parts, but at least she's a legitimate actress with projects in the works and such (which is more than I can say for some of the other starlets). Plus, she's not afraid to take ::jazz hands::fashion::jazz hands:: risks -- which sometimes go right and sometimes go very, very wrong. But at the very least, it's rarely, if ever, boring. Case. In. Point.

Mischa Has Time For Fitness and Friends in Her Life

Mischa Barton grabbed lunch with a friend in NYC on Sunday before a walk with her dog Ziggy yesterday. She was decked out for another trip to the gym, as she continues in her apparent quest to get in better shape. Mischa already looks great next to her The Beautiful Life costars, and she's about to have another face on set when Nina Garcia appears on an upcoming episode.

Mischa Barton's Life Is Beautiful in NYC

Mischa Barton was decked out in a familiar Versace dress this morning at a photo shoot for The Beautiful Life in NYC. She was joined by her costar Nico Tortorella as they smiled big and posed on a red carpet and a horse-drawn carriage. Mischa also bonded with another member of her shows cast, Secret Diary of a Call Girl's Ashley Madekwe, during a walk in Soho with her dog Ziggy yesterday afternoon. It seems like Mischa's getting along great with everyone despite reports otherwise, as she continues keeping things on track.

Mischa Barton headed to the pet store yesterday to pucker up to the adorable doggies in the window. Wonder if her new boyfriend Taylor Locke from Rooney would be jealous to share his girl with those adorable furballs. Perhaps she was picking out a new sibling for Charlie and Ziggy? Even if Mischa was just there to give the puppies some extra love, we all know that pets can always brighten up someone's day.

Denzel's Debaters Wins Big at the NAACP Awards

Last night the ladies looked easy and breezy on the red carpet at the NAACP Awards but it was dapper Denzel who took home top honors. The Oscar presenter may not be nominated for any Academy Awards this year but he did score 4 Image Awards last night for his movie The Great Debaters including Best Actor and Best Motion Picture. The evening also included Hall of Fame winner Stevie Wonder who has quite a few fabulous things to say about Obama and Hillary as well as a great performance. Janet Jackson presented the singer with his honor and she also scored her own award for Best Supporting Actress in Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? Mischa In Moscow

Mischa's been a busy girl these days. Besides hitting all the best shows at Fashion Week, she just signed on to do another movie called Walled In. She also snagged the cover of Teen Vogue. Mischa went totally boho chic in the October Young Hollywood issue and even adorable Ziggy got to make an appearance! The photoshoot shows Mischa looking beautiful around Russia, where she was working on her movie Finding t.A.T.u.. In the past, Mischa has talked a lot about straying from the trends of some other starlets in show business, and in the article she discusses the responsibility that goes along with being in the public eye. She said,

"All young people are difficult. But consider someone who's in a position of real fame, with people throwing things at her. If you're not really grounded, I can see how you can get so messed up. It's important to be cool with everyone, but also to do your own thing. Because you have a certain amount of responsibility once you're in the public eye."

Mischa hasn't always been the picture perfect image of young Hollywood, but she is definitely one of the more grounded starlets we've seen lately and hope she continues to stay level headed to keep her future looking bright.
