Gwen Stefani Hits the Beach With Her Rossdale and No Doubt Boys

Gwen Stefani went to the beach in Marina del Rey yesterday with her sons and No Doubt bandmates. The group got together for a seaside bash, and Gwen even arrived with presents in hand. Gwen wore heels to escort kids Zuma Rossdale and Kingston Rossdale to a party, where they let loose swimming, running, and playing on a jungle gym. Zuma and Kingston weren't the only kids there - Gwen's No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal brought his young daughter, Coco, too! Gwen and her band are gearing up for the September release of their new album. The first single, however, will be out in July.

Gwen and her husband Gavin Rossdale have both thrown themselves back into music, with him touring the world for the last few months with Bush. The next six weeks will see him do shows closer to home around North America. He broke from concerts to celebrate London's Chelsea Football Club's Saturday win in the European Champions soccer league. He tweeted, "fantastic win for Chelsea - For London - for England. The gods were on their side!"

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale took Kingston and Zuma to her parents' house in LA yesterday. Kingston and Zuma were dressed in matching Harajuku Mini outfits for the special occasion while Gavin wore a denim shirt and jeans. Gwen's one of many stars that celebrated Mother's Day with family, and she shared a sweet message to her celebrity pals Gwyneth Paltrow, Alicia Keys, Nicole Richie, Victoria Beckham, and Kelly Wearstler on Twitter. Gwen wrote, "Happy Mother's Day muffins." Gwen had Gavin by her side for the festivities since he's currently in between stops on his tour with Bush. Gavin will hit the road again soon though, to play with his band in Canada tomorrow. Gwen's working on her own music with No Doubt and they'll release their latest album this September.

Gwen Stefani joined her bandmate Tony Kanal at LA's Hollywood Bowl on Friday night to catch a show by Coldplay. Gwen and Tony enjoyed the show alongside other stars like Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Jared Leto, Zoe Saldana, and Ryan Phillippe. Gwen, Tony, and the rest of No Doubt announced their upcoming album, still untitled, will be released on September 25. If rumors are true and Gwen decides to join the X Factor, September could be a crazy month for the mom-of-two since the reality show is also expected to return at the end of September.

Yesterday, however, Gwen took a break from her work duties and spent the day with her favorite guys, Zuma and Kingston Rossdale. Her husband Gavin Rossdale skipped out since he's currently on the road with his band Bush. Gavin's tour continues through the end of June with upcoming dates scheduled in Canada, Minnesota, and Kentucky.

Gwen Stefani kicked off the month of May on a breakfast date with her youngest son, Zuma Rossdale. The pair grabbed an early morning bite then headed home together. Gwen's been hanging in LA with the boys while Gavin Rossdale continues touring the States with his band Bush. Gavin arrived in Atlanta yesterday and is scheduled to perform there tonight before moving on to Florida this weekend.

Gwen's also been focusing on music and spending late nights in the studio with her other guys, No Doubt. They're putting the finishing touches on their upcoming album and Gwen recently laid down the lyrics for a new track, "Psycho." Her talents have landed her among the other A-listers in the running to join the X Factor. In addition to Britney Spears, new reports suggest Simon Cowell wants Gwen to join X Factor. No word, though, on if she's considering his offer.

Their most recent tour stops took them to the East Coast, with their latest concert taking place in Washington DC today. It was a fun weekend at home in LA for Gwen and her kids. Her husband, Gavin Rossdale, wasn't able to attend since he's still touring with Bush. Gavin was on stage in Montreal Saturday and Toronto last night. The coming days bring them back to the US. Gavin and his bandmates are set to perform tomorrow in Philadelphia, then Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

Gwen broke from studio time with her band No Doubt for the adventure with Kingston and Zuma. Gwen has another big event happening soon. Gwen Stefani's heading to American Idol Wednesday to mentor contestants during '80s night with her bandmate Tony Kanal.

Gwen's husband Gavin Rossdale has likewise been focusing on his music following a brief Hollywood detour. He logged a few days on the LA set of Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring last week, then headed to London. He's now in Mexico for a string of dates. Gwen's dad Dennis joined them for the fun day, which included a train ride, an egg hunt, and a photo op with the Easter Bunny. Gavin Rossdale couldn't join his family since he was busy working on The Bling Ring in LA. He did, however, link up with them earlier this month at a tennis tournament in Indian Wells, CA, where they all cheered on pal Roger Federer. When Gwen isn't spending time with her boys, she's been busy in the studio with her band. No Doubt is currently working on their next album, having recently celebrated their 25th anniversary as a group.
