Last night the actors acknowledged themselves at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The ladies looked marvelous and the men were relaxed on the red carpet. This show included some great laughs and the speeches were fun and after all the winners said their thanks they headed back to the press room to pose with their new trophies.

It was a big celebratory dinner party for Hollywood's finest last night as actors of TV and movies came together for the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Both the women and the men brought some excitement on the red carpet, but when they got inside it was all about mingling between awards. Brad and Angelina stayed in their seats other than when he was presenting Button as an ensemble cast nominee, but kept the smiles big for whenever the cameras panned their way.

Award season is rolling on with tonight's Screen Actors Guild Awards. Last year the SAGs were one of the most star-studded events of the year due to the writers' strike. This season, there are plenty of other chances for the stars to collect accolades, from the Golden Globes to the Oscars and more.

Some of our favorite actresses got glammed up to walk the red carpet at last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards. Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet were joined by Slumdog Millionaire's Freida Pinto in different hues of blue, which turned out to be the shade of the night. Angelina even stopped to talk to the press — tell us if you like her friendly or b*tchy interview better.

Tom Cruise skipped the red carpet (boo — where was Katie?) and despite the latest controversy, he was there to support his fellow actors in the union last night at the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Tom presented the best ensemble cast to No Country For Old Men. Other big winners included Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, The Sopranos cast and Daniel Day Lewis who had the most heartfelt speech dedicating his award to Heath Ledger who he said was "unique" and "perfect" when referring to his role as Ennis in Brokeback Mountain.

Tom Cruise wasn't the only one who skipped the red carpet last night, Fool's Gold costars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey presented an award and stopped by the press room but didn't do the outside posing. They didn't have awards to show off, of course, but the night's big winners did. Tina Fey looked a little uncomfortable with her mini actor (so missing Alec Baldwin, boo) while Edie Falco proudly showed off her double fisting skills.

Patrick Dempsey looked cool and casual as he made another quick stop to refuel his Porsche in LA on Monday. The actor is doing double duty lately, working on Grey's Anatomy and promoting his latest cologne for Avon. He's a pro at making scents, as his Unscripted debuted last year.

Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard were together in LA on Sunday to see a movie at the ArcLight. The duo, who met earlier this year while working on a remake of Straw Dogs, seem to be spending an awful lot of time together lately — they were side-by-side for the Spike Scream Awards and made the rounds at last week's GQ Men of the Year bash. Kate's not the only one who's only got eyes for the True Blood actor, who is a favorite over in our community section with the Fans of Alexander Skarsgard group.
