George Clooney winked at photographers in the Detroit airport yesterday where he's filming scenes for his new movie, Up in the Air. Earlier in the week, George was in serious but gracious spirits talking to Larry King about his trip to Darfur and meetings with the President and Vice President. Clooney's kind nature extends to his friends as well — he has been letting David Beckham live at his Lake Como villa while he plays for Milan.

George Clooney flashed his charming smile and hitched a ride on a golf cart as he continued to film Up in the Air in Florida earlier today. George has been busy both working on the movie and playing around town in Miami, and he'll also be defending his friend Rande Gerber in his sexual harassment case. As usual George seems to be taking it all in stride, and the newly 48-year-old's looks seem to only get better with age.

Of all the outrageous performances at Sunday's American Music Awards, it's American Idol's Adam Lambert who caused the biggest stir. His appearance, which was aired at the end of the show near 11 p.m., involved Adam pulling a dancer's face towards his crotch region and kissing the keyboard player. It apparently prompted over a thousand complaints and was edited for the West Coast broadcast.
