Do You Still Care About the Idol Conspiracy Theories?
Kris Allen was crowned the winner of American Idol last week, but at the time most of your disagreed with the results and the media are still questioning his victory over Adam Lambert. The New York Times reported that AT&T hooked up Kris's fans with free cell phones and text messaging at various Idol parties, though FOX has already denied that the voting was skewed. Other sources claim that it wasn't a close race since Danny Gokey's fans supported Kris in the finals.
American Idol Season Eight Goes Out With a Bang
Last night American Idol finalists Kris Allen and Adam Lambert took the stage for the last time, joined by former contestants and big stars alike. Nicole Richie enjoyed her dad's duet with Danny Gokey with Joel and her little sister Sophia, while Victoria and Romeo Beckham took seats in the audience as well. As promised, the night was full of fun surprises from Kara's surprise sing along (and smokin' hot bikini body — who knew?) to an awesome rendition of "We Are the Champions" featuring Queen.

The American Idol auditions are officially over, and last night the performances began. We weren't exactly blown away by most of last night's singers, but we're looking forward to seeing the results tonight. American Idol Season 6: America, Meet Your Final 3
Last night's results show was especially blah because deep down everyone knew what was coming -- LaKisha was being sent home. Her past two weeks' performances have been better, but she just wasn't living up to the potential she showed in the very beginning. Hey, at least she'll always have her kiss with Simon to remember.

- Vanessa Minnillo has skyrocketed her celeb status thanks to dating Nick Lachey. Apparently it has resulted in her being "put on notice" due to diva behavior on both shows that she co-hosts, TRL and ET. Her people say she is just on vacation.
