Ashlee Avoids a Direct Answer to Pregnancy Question
Ashlee Simpson stopped by TRL today with a smile on her face and an important line of questioning to address. She was there to promote Bittersweet World, but of course the issue on everyone's mind was the pregnancy rumor. While Pete's denial was more concrete, Ashlee was pretty vague about the whole thing.

There is so something in the LA water. Us Weekly claims to have confirmed that Ashlee Simpson is pregnant with her first child. She and Pete announced their engagement last week on his website, at which time the magazine started the baby talk, but their reps have yet to comment on the pregnancy rumor.
Ashlee Simpson's Canadian Weekend
Ashlee Simpson left from LAX on Friday and reappeared in Toronto this weekend. The singer was there as the new spokeswoman for a clothing line called Request, where she went to a Zellers store for their re-launch on Saturday. Ash has dabbled in fashion design before, but at the event she talked more about her future plans, and how she feels about her baby's upcoming arrival.

Ashlee Simpson looked classic in her denim and white, rocking a pair of those maternity jeans she loves so much, out at La Scala in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. Ashlee Simpson showed off her way big baby bump — I know, I know it's only getting bigger — around town and stopping in for another doctor's appointment in LA yesterday. After enjoying some couple time, at least one half of this newlywed duo is off to Chicago for the weekend, where Pete will be throwing parties to celebrate Lollapalooza, complete with a secret concert of some sort. Whether or not his expecting wife Ashlee will be up for the travels, the hip parents-to-be aren't letting impending parenthood change their rock star lives.
Ashlee Simpson's Not Bitter Just Sweet Summer
Ashlee Simpson traded in her maxi dresses for a pretty little white number out to lunch at Chin Chin in LA with a friend yesterday. While Ashlee's original plan for the Summer involved a club tour to support Bittersweet World, she canceled that and seems happy as can be to spend some downtime enjoying her pregnancy home in the LA area. Now maybe she could find a moment to get her rapidly growing puppy Rigby a leash.
