Will You Be Buying Britney's Blackout Today?

Well, today's the day. Britney's long anticipated new album Blackout has hit stores. In her personal life, things are looking up (deja vu) - she met with Kevin for a counseling session yesterday and the judge's custody ruling is expected as early as today. But for the moment, it's all about her career. To celebrate, Bella is giving away 10 bottles of her believe.

We've heard previews of most of the tracks, and I must admit that a couple of them are catchy ("Piece of Me" especially). That being said, it's increasingly hard to separate her music from, well, her life. So, let me know, will you be buying Blackout today?

We've seen lots of fake versions of Britney's new album cover for Blackout, but now we have the official photo. The album will be hitting stores on October 30th, and the track list has also been released, with Gimme More kicking it off. So now that you've seen the cover, tell us - love it or leave it?

Britney's Blackout Is Coming Even Sooner

Britney was back in brown boots and a hot little red dress that she managed to make way sluttier than it needed to be (hello - bra please). We've been anxiously awaiting her new album, and all the early buzz has made her record label take action. Since many of her songs have already leaked online, Jive Records has decided to push up the release date of Blackout to Oct 30th, two weeks earlier than the original Nov 13th release date. Even if you weren't one of the many to download her Gimme More, the song is still doing really well on the charts. We're definitely interested to see if Blackout will be her comeback album.

Britney's Blackout Is Off The Charts (Not In A Good Way)

After spending Thanksgiving morning with her boys, in the evening Britney Spears stopped off at a Virgin Megastore before heading back to the Four Seasons Hotel where she basically lives. Perhaps she was buying up an armload of Blackout to boost her lagging album sales which have gone from decent, but not No.1 to cringe worthy in the month that it's been out. Ouch. Well hey, maybe her new single "Piece of Me" (which is my favorite track on the album) will push her back up the charts for the holiday season. If not, at least she's supposedly got a new boy to comfort her.

Are You Surprised That Blackout Debuted at No. 1?

Most of you said you weren't planning on buying Britney's new album, but it looks like the masses disagreed on this one. Blackout sold over 325,000 copies, making it No. 1 on the Billboard charts after its first week. This is a great accomplishment for Brit, but it's still only half of In The Zone's opening week sales of 609,000 copies. We want to know - are you surprised that Britney's album hit #1?

Britney Gets Festive for Halloween and Blackout

Last night Britney Spears was ready to celebrate. She took her Halloween spirit beyond her pumpkin-decorated car and got into a skimpy costume - clearly she has a thing for pirate attire. Apparently Brit even tried to make a special appearance at the Virgin Megastore for the official midnight release of her album, and even though most of you weren't running out to get a copy of Blackout, the parking lot was so packed that she gave up when she couldn't find a spot. From there Britney stopped off at Les Deux and, of course, went through a few costume changes. The judge's custody ruling is expected later today and while the parent coach's testimony was apparently mixed, her lawyer is confident that it will return to 50/50 custody. Sounds like this big day for Britney is just getting started.

Instead of heading home for the night, she headed to Winstons with Allie, only to get pulled over on the way out for an undisclosed minor infraction. All in all, it sounds like a pretty standard night for Britney and we'll cut her some slack this time since she just wanted to have some fun and celebrate the release of her new album.

The Popular Blackout Weapon

I forgot to write about 24 this week, and all I can think about is the Blackout weapon that is supposedly used to fry all the electronics in the area. First we saw this device on Alias and now 24 - is anyone else freaked out that this thing really exists???? I am - what would we do without tv, computers, phones etc - forget that it makes helicopters drop from the sky, I'm scared.

We already got a peek at Britney Spears Sunday night out in LA, but apparently once inside the club, she met up with her old friend Lindsay Lohan. The starlets were close a few years ago before each one went through some personal issues. They were all smiles during their evening out though, and according to Life & Style, they danced and chatted at the Grand Star Jazz Club until 3 a.m. LL was out celebrating her new role, while Britney was just enjoying time at home before she's off again on the next leg of her Circus tour.
