Leighton Keeps Things Buttoned Up For Gossip Girl
Leighton Meester joined Chace Crawford, Blake Lively and Ed Westwick yesterday on the NYC set of Gossip Girl. Unlike her edgier performance look at Tuesday's American Eagle party, Leighton kept things prim and proper as she got into character as Blair Waldorf. You guys aren't quite sure what to make of Leighton's tendencies to strip down when she goes into musical mode, but she's not the only Upper East Sider who likes to show a bit of skin.
Gossip Girl Cast Sings About Love, Acts Out College Lust
Hilary Duff, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen were back to work on Gossip Girl Tuesday after most of them hit the red carpet together to support Penn Badgley's new thriller The Stepfather. Leighton Meester missed the premiere, but was out yesterday to debut her new song "Somebody to Love" all over the airwaves. Blair Waldorf has her somebody to love, but next week we'll see what happens with a certain Chuck Bass kiss — maybe it will even give us a clue as to who's involved in the mysterious upcoming threesome.
Penn, Hilary, and Jessica Keep the Gossip Coming

Leighton Meester filmed new scenes in NYC's Columbus Circle yesterday with her former on-screen love Chace Crawford and her current Gossip Girl flame Ed Westwick. Leggy Blake Lively joined her costars on set later in the afternoon. Blair and Chuck's role-playing on Monday's season premiere made Buzz's top 5 WTF moments from the episode, but there's no denying the couple's chemistry.
Ed, Leighton, and Taylor Hold Down the Gossip Girl Fort
Ed Westwick was back on the set of Gossip Girl earlier this afternoon, looking dapper as ever in his Chuck Bass clothes despite his date night out with Jessica Szohr yesterday. He was joined by Taylor Momsen and Leighton Meester, who was also decked out in her Blair Waldorf best. A few of their other costars appeared to have the day off from filming, but the whole cast has put in lots of time on the Upper East Side as they prep for their return to TV.

The ladies and guys of Gossip Girl were up earlier this morning to continue filming in NYC. Blake Lively and Penn Badgley huddled together for a moment, while Leighton Meester's real-life love Sebastian Stan also made a cameo on set. Ed Westwick might be having a few problems with his off-screen relationship, but all seemed well as his Chuck Bass romanced Leighton's Blair with a fancy bottle of champagne.

Jessica Szohr and Leighton Meester took yesterday afternoon off from filming Gossip Girl to shop and dine in NYC. Leighton, as Blair Waldorf, has been snuggling up to Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass on set, but things may not be going as well in his off-screen relationship with Jessica. They're apparently on the rocks after he skipped a party Jess hosted last weekend, allegedly because of a big fight.
Michelle Talks About "Man-Eater" Georgina's New Relationship
Michelle Trachtenberg stopped by the opening of Guess's new flagship boutique last night in NYC. She took a night off from work on the new season of Gossip Girl, which will see Georgina return as Blair's roommate at NYU. Michelle has practiced a few scenes with Penn Badgley, so we asked her about a potential relationship between Georgina and Dan.
The Crazy Drama Continues on Gossip Girl
Jessica Szohr hit an event in Connecticut over the weekend, wearing a chic black jumper, but she was back in costume as Vanessa earlier today to film Gossip Girl in NYC. She recently opened up about all the "drama and crazy stuff" we can expect from the cast next season, though things seemed typically lighthearted on set as she worked with Leighton Meester, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Penn Badgley. We can apparently expect to see lots more of Michelle, since she's coming back to the show as Blair's freshman-year roommate.
