Jessica Worried About Carrying Blonde Ambition
Even though Jess seems to love her new dark hair, she had to go back to blonde (this time, a wig) to do some reshoots for Blonde Ambition in NY yesterday. Jessica may be feeling the pressure of her first starring role, but luckily she's been studying some comic greats and was even able to memorize all her lines this time around (well, mostly). Here's Jess on the experience:

Luke and Jessica Star in Blonde Ambition
A few weeks back Jessica Simpson was talking about doing a movie called Blonde Ambition with Luke Wilson. But a rep for Wilson said that the project was still in the works and a source close to the actor said “Luke Wilson will never do a movie with Jessica Simpson.” But now it seems he has changed his mind. MTV reports that Luke has joined the cast of the film, which is a remake of Working Girl and originally starred Harrison Ford and Melanie Griffith.
Are You Surprised About Blonde Ambition?
Jessica Simpson's Blonde Ambition has had some problems from the start, making the fate of the movie pretty bleak. Things have gone from bad to worse for the film and now the rumor is that it's going straight to DVD in America. While this has yet to be confirmed by the movie's reps, it doesn't fare well for the movie's ratings if it does in fact hit the big screen.
Jessica Starts Filming Blonde Ambition
Well it looks like Jessica got her wish to be in the film Blonde Ambition with Luke Wilson. Here she is on the set in Shreveport, Louisiana with Pimp Daddy Simpson in tow. As always, dad brought along his video camera so he can document every moment of his daughter's life.

The 2009 American Music Awards are here! Selena Gomez shimmered in her metallic dress while a very blond Shakira posed in yellow on the red carpet. Shakira's dress is reminiscent of January Jones's dramatic Emmys gown.
Country Shines Bright and Taylor Cleans Up at the CMAs!
Last night we gave you a taste of the CMA Awards, and now here's the whole set! For the younger women, it was all about the shine on the red carpet from Taylor Swift's typical beautiful sparkly gown to Carrie Underwood's mirrored number. Carrie was one of the hosts of the night along with Brad Paisley, so once she stepped inside it was all about the costume changes for her.

Pamela Not Making it to Cannes for her Premiere
Pam was in her usual white uniform looking low key in LA this week. Apparently her new film, Blonde and Blonder, is premiering at The Cannes FIlm Festival but she won't be there to attend. She said via her website, "I'm having my own premiere with my kids...in my bed with popcorn."
Jessica Keeps Messing Up Her Lines
Just about a week ago Jessica screwed up her tribute to Dolly Parton at the Kennedy Center. Apparently she can't get her lines right on the set of Blonde Ambition either. Poor Jess, but at least Luke is being supportive.
Jessica and Luke Get Down
At one point Luke was never going to work with Jess and now the reports are the co-stars are in Louisiana partying together too. They were spotted at Phoenix Underground last week. It sounds like they are having a fun time working down south.
