Jennifer Aniston Is Bankable and Still Basting
Jennifer Aniston was back on the set of The Baster in LA yesterday to shoot scenes for the unfinished project — see her look here. Jennifer had a smile on her face, despite yet another round of annoying and untrue rumors that she had a secret rendezvous in NYC with her ex husband Brad Pitt. She's used to the gossip mill by now, of course, and apparently her sense of humor about the stories is something she shares with her The Bounty costar Gerard Butler.

Matt Damon stopped by The Late Show last night in NYC, back in the US to promote The Informant! after his premiere at the Venice Film Festival. He laughingly cleared up the Internet rumor that he died yesterday, although he said it would have been upsetting if his friends and family had believed it.
Basterds Hits NYC With Help From Diane, LL, Chace and More
It was another star-studded evening celebrating Inglourious Basterds at a screening in NYC last night. Quentin Tarantino and the movie's stars — minus Brad Pitt, who is apparently back in France with his family — gathered with some celebrity friends at the Cinema Society event. Lindsay Lohan, who has been working with Quentin's friend Robert Rodriguez on Machete, hit the red carpet, as did Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and Sebastian Stan.

Do Enough Rumors Make You Start Believing a Story's True?
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Jennifer Aniston are favorites of the tabloids and this week there's a particularly juicy set of headline stories. For example, People is giving the lowdown on Brad and Angelina's estrangement while Star claims that he's been illicitly meeting up with Jen. Their love triangle is a great example of tales running wild, but occasionally it seems as though gossip turns out to be accurate when multiple outlets are reporting the same tales.
