John Mayer Is Not Above the Law or Bromance

Yesterday John Mayer went cruising around LA in a much bigger vehicle than the one he was showing off on Monday, and it looks like he got into a bit of trouble with the law. It's hard to say whether John got a ticket or just gave an autograph to the police officer, but either way he looks pretty funny getting pulled over in his huge Land Rover. Lucky for Mr. Mayer, his day took a turn for the better when he got a visit from Pete Wentz. Both of these men are off the market these days, but we still wonder what Ashlee and Jennifer think about their mutual man crushes.

Spencer Pratt's Future - Realistic or Impossible?

Spencer Pratt's over-the-top comments are one of the reasons he's an interesting character, but his recent interview with Complex magazine on his new rap career takes things to a new level. Among pronouncements like he is the "future of hip-hop," Spencer took on Jay-Z, Brody Jenner, and even the radio. He said:

On taking on Jay-Z and Beyonce: "Beyoncé had to be built by a group like Destiny’s Child, but Heidi shines solo. I’ll actually give you an exclusive: I could guarantee you Speidi’s "Bonnie & Clyde" version is going to stunt on Jay and B’s version."
On not associating with Brody: "The Bromance show definitely hurts my street cred, so I’ll definitely distance myself from Brody as a hypeman. I’ll be pretty much be the first rapper/hypeman. . . I’ll get on the mic and be like, “Who is hotter than me in the game? No one.”
On music's future: "People are not even going to have time to listen to radio in their cars because they are going to be talking on their phones or twittering, or BBM’ing. So I feel like the only time people are going to hear music is when your phone rings, so that’s the whole market I’m going after. I don’t care about the clubs, I don’t care about the radio, all I care about is getting my digital downloads like Soulja Boy."

Spencer never ceases to surprise, so who knows if his predictions will come true. He and Heidi do seem to be oddly successful at their many endeavors, but how he'll fare in the rap game seems uncertain. So, tell us what you think - are his predictions realistic or impossible?

He and Frankie Delgado have high hopes for their new friend, and Frankie recently said, "We are really invested in finding a guy friend for our entourage. We don’t trust a lot of people, because people might want to be our friends for who we are or who we’re around, what club we can get into. . . so maybe this way we can find a true friend.” It could be fun to get a peek into their crazy life, but it seems like every celebrity is looking for a new pal through reality TV. Brody Celebrates His B-Day Frolicking Shirtless in Hawaii

While Brody Jenner's buddy Spencer was hamming it up at Disneyland, the former Prince of Malibu was happy to show off his bod for the cameras in Maui. He's there celebrating his 25th birthday with his girlfriend Cora Skinner, brother Brandon, and mom Linda (yes, in the blue) who may love the cameras most of all. While we admit that Brody is a cutie, he's also the corniest ever with his intense frisbee game and parrot friend. Hilarious. We'll be seeing a lot more of Brody all over the TV this Fall between his Bromance and I'm sure an appearance or two on The Hills, but at least when he's shirtless there's some eye candy to go with his cheesiness.

Lauren Conrad's Got Her Blue Dress and Her Boys

The Hills is over for now, but lucky for us Lauren Conrad is already hard at work keeping her social life busy while the cameras are rolling for next season. Yesterday she grabbed lunch with Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado, so we're happy to see that some of the boys other than Spencer will be on the show again. Of course, Brody is going to be a busy boy now that he's got a reality show of his own, so maybe LC will return the favor by adding a little bit of star power to a few episodes of Bromance.
