The Ladies Are Short, Long and Shiny on the AMA Red Carpet!
The 2009 American Music Awards descended on the Nokia Theatre in LA last night, which meant a star studded red carpet before the big show. It was a pleasant mixture of long and short dresses on all the ladies, though some even found a way to do both simultaneously like Rihanna in her cutout gown. Carrie Underwood has the early lead in Fab's best dressed poll, but Rih is close behind.

Nikki Reed was fresh off her long press weekend supporting New Moon but got dressed up last night to pose with costar Anna Kendrick at MovieLine's Behind the Camera Awards in LA. They joined adorable couple Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger, who's back to focusing on film after her fashion-related party earlier in the week. Nikki and Anna were on hand to honor their special effects editor Susan MacLeod, and Diane came out on behalf of Inglourious Basterds producer Lawrence Bender.
Heidi and Spencer Teach Jimmy a Thing or Two About Fame
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt made another stop along their book tour and visited Jimmy Kimmel last night in LA. The pair mugged and kissed for the cameras, solidifying their declaration of being "professional posers" during their live segment — check out their appearance after the jump. It's been one year today since Heidi and Spencer's elopement in Mexico, but the couple won't be spending it together.
Dev and Freida Are Prepared For Any Situation
Dev Patel and Freida Pinto left LAX and were spotted arriving at London's Heathrow yesterday. While Freida looked happy to saunter along and smile for the cameras, Dev pushed their considerable luggage. They're back in Dev's home country after some work and play in California earlier this month.

Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan shared a private moment between scenes while filming Money Never Sleeps in NYC yesterday. The pair usually save their PDA for strolls around the city, but Shia couldn't resist planting a kiss on Carey's nose when the cameras weren't rolling. The duo has been inseparable while on set, but Carey was on her own in LA on Saturday night when she hit the red carpet at MOCA's star-studded 30th anniversary bash.
Heidi and Spencer Show NYC How to Be Famous
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt did their best to smile for the cameras yesterday as they arrived at LAX. They were on their way to NYC to begin promoting their new book, "How to Be Famous," but first up was the requisite kissing and posing for their friends the paparazzi. Unfortunately, their scheduled interview this morning on The Today Show ended up being cancelled — and that set off the latest round of Heidi and Spencer's feud with Al Roker.
Ashley and Dakota Spread Out Around LA Before Their Premiere
The big LA premiere of New Moon is this evening, and the film's stars all gathered there over the weekend to prep for the red carpet. As Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart made their way back from their final press duties in Europe, Dakota Fanning and Ashley Greene were in California laying relatively low. Ashley joined a few friends for dinner at Beso on Saturday night, as her former mall tour buddy Kellan Lutz wrapped things up with Bronson Pelletier.
Blake and Robin Have the Stars of Nine Supporting Pippa Lee
The leading ladies of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee hit the red carpet in NYC on Saturday evening. Blake Lively didn't address rumors she's going into business with Victoria Beckham as she smiled for the cameras, while her boyfriend Penn Badgley mingled with fellow Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford behind the scenes. Robin Wright Penn, meanwhile, showed off her new dark hairdo as she posed alongside Julianne Moore and Keanu Reeves.
