Lo Puts Reading and Drama on the Record
Lo Bosworth made time for a good cause yesterday, stopping by the LA Public Library in leggings for Jumpstart's Read for the Record Program. For lunch she met up with Kristin Cavallari, who traded in her bikini for jean shorts and laughed big while on the set of The Hills. These two are the only Laguna Beach alumni still left on the MTV reality show, but that doesn't mean there's no drama between them.

Jess wore her favorite country girl outfit on stage and then changed into her Cowboys jersey on Sunday when departing LAX with Daisy. Heidi and Spencer Use Their Powers for Good
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt love their photo ops but yesterday they showed off a sweeter side visiting the Children's Hospital of Orange County during Ryan Seacrest's live broadcast for his radio show. The drama never stops on The Hills, but Heidi got serious talking to Ryan about putting things into perspective and, of course, her relationship with LC. On a possible reconciliation with Lauren:

Kellan, Anna, and Jamie Make BlackBook's List
BlackBook put together a list of up-and-coming young actors, and three stars from the Twilight series made the cut. Anna Kendrick, who plays Bella's friend Jessica, made the list, as did new vampire Jamie Campbell-Bower. Kellan Lutz rounded out the trio, sitting down for a special interview as he gets out there promoting both New Moon and Nightmare on Elm Street — check out that film's scary new trailer.

Kate Hudson and her son Ryder took a walk and visited a pet store together yesterday. They're home in NYC following their many trips to see Yankees games across the county, as Kate's relationship with Alex Rodriguez heats up. A-Rod wasn't around for their city stroll, but Kate's main man Ryder was showing off his shorter but still long haircut.
The Ladies of Hollywood Celebrate and Pose For Photographs
Mischa Barton, Rosario Dawson and Mandy Moore were out celebrating the opening of the "Vanity Fair Portraits: Photographs 1913-2008" exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art last night. They were joined by 90210's Shenae Grimes to check out a collection of the magazine's iconic celebrity portraits, while new mom Minnie Driver made her first public appearance since the birth of her son Henry last month. It's the second bash this week to be hosted by Burberry after throwing a party in honor of their Beverly Hills store reopening on Monday, and it looks like lots of stars were happy to go out in support of both art and fashion.

Jessica Simpson took a break from the county fair circuit and headed north to perform in Ontario yesterday. She brought her big smile and a low-cut top to showcase a few of her tunes from her chart-topping new album, but her show received a harsh review. Jessica's no stranger to a little backlash, but maybe this weekend her boyfriend Tony can help her shake it off with another win for the undefeated Cowboys.
