Oct 12 2006 - 4:45pm Nick Lachey made an appearance on The Late Show last night. It's got to be hard on him. No matter where he goes people are always asking about Jessica.
Oh, and my DUH was meant for him saying one of the dumber ideas executed in history...yeah, everyone likes Nick, Jen. He's just too wussy for me...I dunno!
I love him. He was on The View today. He's YUMMY! I think Jessica's dad had little man syndrome around Nick =) He couldn't be the alpha male with Nick around! hahaha
the "talent" does a run through for every interview with letterman. these shows are not done on the fly. nick knew this was going to be asked and i'm sure the response was EXACTLY what he
wanted people to see as his position whether it was his position at the time or not. this is nick's "spin" people.
Of course! We always welcome new recruits! Our goals will not have been accomplished until Chestica is back in Texas and working as a Hooters waitress. THAT is especially poignant since she
said in an eppy of Newlyweds that Hooters girls were skanks.Flash forward and she is humping the General Lee in her soft core vid for These Boots....
I did a stint as a PA on Letterman for an article I was writing for a New York local publication. He didn't do run through with the guests. He did a run through of his monologue and the
opening sketches, and they also ran through the music, then rolled tape. I do know that his staff would ask well in advance if any topics were "off limits" for any reason (like legal reasons)
but the guests don't know the questions that will be asked. In fact, they don't book many guests who say that certain topics are off limits just because they don't want to talk about it.
Okay, I just think that he realized that he married into the weirdest family in the world and wanted it aired to the national public so then when he did leave her it would be okay because
then everyone would know that they have major issues!!!
It appears from my brief time there (I spent a week and four shows) three years ago that Letterman is a tough boss. Not a dick or anything, just exacting.
I have to say it appears Nick has learnt from newlyweds, where as Jessica & her family will still pimp out anything they can for publicity.
When I was at a coffee shop today, i was reading one of their magazines when I was there & there was this one bit that said Pimp Daddy wanted to Ashlee to dump Braxton & date an
A-lister, and that Pimp Daddy was calling Matt McConaughey trying to get him to date Ashlee & Matt wasn't interested...too funny!
