Levi McConaughey Has His Dad's Sense of Humor

Matthew McConaughey brought his family and friends to the MaliBLUE Art & Music Festival in LA yesterday. The event was a fundraiser for the Surfrider Foundation, which concentrates on protecting oceans and beaches, and MM looked happy to show his eco-friendly side. He's been promoting Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and recently talked about his experience working with Jennifer Garner and provided funny stories about little Levi. Here's more:

On working with Jennifer Garner: " I had a ball with Jennifer. She's very elegant, yet sort of a classic woman, actress. She does her own thing, and she also doesn't bring a lot of hoity-toity false drama to the process. But she's also very sly and cunning and witty. She's with it and she's fun to work with. You might think you're pulling one over on her, and she'll flip it right around. She's very keen and coy."
On whether he changes diapers and if Levi pees on him: "Yes! And yes! More than a few times to both. And he gets the joke when he pees on me. He laughs. He laughs his butt off! I think I am [good at changing diapers]. I could have a race-off with some other dads out there ... The coolest thing I've learned from Levi is kids really remind you of [your] sense of humor."
On having more kids: "Sure, maybe. This is going great right now. We're having a ball. Right now Levi's favorite toy is a carrot. No matter how many of those colorful toys you buy at Toys "R" Us or Babies "R" Us, his favorite toy is a carrot. He takes it everywhere. You've got to get a cold one. When it gets hot, he doesn't like it as much and you have to get a cold one out of the fridge. Because it's cold it feels good on his teeth, but he just likes the carrot."

Levi sounds like quite the character already, taking after his dad's outgoing personality and his mom's sense of style.

Leo, Cameron and Jon Stay Eco-Friendly and Smiling

Environmentally-conscious celebrities headed to the National Resources Defense Council's 20th Anniversary party in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. It was no surprise to see two of our favorite eco-loving celebrities Cameron Diaz and Leonardo DiCaprio walking the red carpet. Cameron's also had some fun movie news to celebrate - she's in talks to star in a legal comedy called Bobbie Sue. Jon Hamm was also there showing off some scruff while still looking dapper in his suit. Earth Day was on the 22nd and a party celebrating our natural resources was the perfect way to end a particularly environmental week.

Nicole Richie Is Eco-Friendly and Heading to Britney

Nicole Richie looked beautiful all done up on her way into a photo shoot in LA yesterday. Tonight she has big plans with Ashlee Simpson - the girls are going to the Britney Spears concert, and Nicole sounds especially excited to show first-timer Ash how fun Brit can be. Nicole is also using her Internet skills for philanthropic causes - she posted a video asking her fans to be more eco-friendly and politically active in order to benefit the Congo. Adrian and Camila Party For Genius

Adrian Grenier led the eco-friendly pack last night at the launch party for Loomstate's new Target collection in LA. The line, which is made from 100% organic cotton, brought out lots of environmentally-minded celebs, from Elizabeth Banks and Kristen Bell to Anna Faris and True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. Camila Alves left Matthew and Levi at home as she checked out the offerings, and we're sure to see lots more of her solo now that she's set to host the third season of Shear Genius. The handbag designer is ready to take on new projects, and we'd still like if her next undertaking involves a wedding.

Leo Puts Himself on the Eco Auction Block

Leonardo DiCaprio and a young friend chatted in their courtside seats watching the Lakers defeat the Jazz in LA last night. Leonardo's an avid Lakers fan, but another of his most important passions is taking center stage now. With Earth Day coming up in a week, the actor is launching an eBay auction to support Global Green - prizes include a chance to attend the Shutter Island premiere, Titanic memorabilia, and other items signed by Leo. It kicks off tonight and ends next Wednesday evening. The environmentally conscious actor isn't the only one getting ready for Earth Day - check out our eco coverage across the network.

Kate Shows Her Alter-Eco in SF Before Returning to LA

Kate Bosworth grabbed dinner in LA on Wednesday, but she was in San Francisco earlier this week to attend a benefit for Global Green, an environmental organization she supports along with some of the special guys in her life. She spoke at the event, looking fabulous in her specially designed Phillip Lim dress, and chatted with us all about her earth-friendly diet, as well as a new project, car, and what she's up to ove the holidays. Here's more:

On her holiday plans: "I'm not traveling so I guess that's the best way! I'm in LA and my family is coming out and they're going to be with me in LA."
On her next environmental project: "My next project, [her friend] Nadia and I came up with it, because part of my land is sort of tiered in a funny way - and we looked at each-other one day and said, 'You know what would be great? An organic vegetable garden!'"
On her eco-friendly ride: "The car I just got is a new clean diesel VW Jetta, it gets over 40 miles per gallon, which is quite good."

Guess she needed to upgrade that Prius she bought last year, but it's great to see Kate stepping up to try new things for the sake of the environment - especially when she looks so fabulous doing it.

Leo DiCaprio Wants to Give You a Green Card

Leonardo DiCaprio brought his mission to Hong Kong yesterday to introduce the HSBC green credit card and his documentary The 11th Hour. The card is made of environmentally friendly materials, uses only digital bills to cut down on paper waste, and donates to a green charity for every transaction. Of course, saving the world is a huge part of Leo's life these days, which he happily admitted when talking about his two great passions in life: "acting and being an environmental activist." He also went on to say what it was like meeting with the "great environmental minds of our time" and the responsibility our generation has to help the earth - check out the video after the jump. While it may seem like it's all about beach vacations with his hot model girlfriend for Leo, he's also got a big old heart and his head in the right place.

Before Oscar Gold Comes Global Green

Before the stars get ready for Academy Award fun, there are the prerequisite parties to attend, and last night the celebs came out for the 5th annual Global Green pre-Oscar party. Adrian Grenier has never been one to miss an eco-friendly good time, and it looks like he's officially trying to look like a caveman at this point. At least Salma was all cleaned up (and looking so slim!) to talk about the cause. According to the Global Green board member, having a new baby has only increased her concern for our planet. She said,

"I get a bigger fear of what kind of world she's going to live in. Is she going to run out of water? What kind of water is she going to drink? It's really scary and it's not that far away if we don't do something about it."

It seems like Adrian is already starting the movement to save our water resources by not showering, but hopefully they can spread enough awareness to find other ways to protect the earth as well.
