It Was A Very Well-Rounded Emmy Show
Ryan Seacrest put his best hosting face forward at last night's Emmy Awards, but it was the round stage that really stole the show. The concept was cool, but it definitely made for some awkward moments, right? The Rainn Wilson/Kanye West version of Don't Forget The Lyrics was a highlight, along with Steve Carell "stealing" Ricky Gervais' Emmy.
The Ladies Go For Gowns At The Emmys
Our favorite leading ladies of television did not disappoint us on the Emmy red carpet last night. Blue was my favorite color but all jewel tone shades were a hit with ladies like Portia, America and Felicity. Rebecca and Heidi went for the Old Hollywood glamour girl look while Katherine combined that trend with the mermaid dress one.
The 2007 Primetime Emmy Nominations Announced!
Kyra Sedgwick and Jon Cryer were up early in Hollywood this AM to announce the nominees for the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards. TV Movie Bury My Heart led the pack with 17 nominations, while The Sopranos also cleaned up with 15, including acting nods for James and Edie, and a nom for Best Dramatic Series. New favorites also did pretty well, with Ugly Betty receiving 11 nominations and Heroes bringing in 8.
De Niro & Bowie Have Big Festivals, Bigger Egos
Last night Vantiy Fair helped kick off the Tribeca Film Festival with a party attended by a variety of big names. Robert De Niro and David Bowie were among those who flashed big smiles for the cameras, but apparently there is a fair amount of tension between these two under the surface. It seems that De Niro is not a big fan of Bowie's High Line Festival, which is set to start just three days after Tribeca ends and is catered towards a younger crowd.
Sienna Says She's Not a Party Girl
Jude supposedly broke up with Sienna because he was sick of her partying, but she says that she doesn't see herself that way at all. In fact, she says that she's not your typical Hollywood starlet. She doesn't go for bodyguards or personal assistants and she doesn't even watch her weight, let alone stoop to starving herself.
