Anderson Cooper was the man of the evening on Saturday as he hosted the annual CNN Heroes Awards. The ceremony honored ten individuals who go above and beyond with their contribution to the world, and each was introduced to the crowd by a celebrity guest. Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, and Eva Mendes were a few of the ladies on hand to do the honors, while Carrie Underwood performed.

Jennifer Aniston was in LA last week for a wedding with her stylist, but she popped up in NYC last night to take part in the annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway. She joined a handful of actor couples for the evening, including Emily Blunt and John Krasinski as well as Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts. Demi Moore was a lot more covered up than her recent W cover, as she posed with husband Ashton Kutcher.

Carey is a busy woman working on her current movie and promoting her well-reviewed film An Education. Her schedule is bound to get even more packed, as she gears up to show off the upcoming Brothers alongside costars Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal.

The red carpet was brimming with beautiful stars in LA last night at the Hollywood Awards Gala, which is referred to as the first stop of award season. Charlize Theron was fresh off her trip to SF and looking hot, while Kate Beckinsale was also sexy in black. Diane Kruger held down the angelic side in white, and newlywed Zooey Deschanel stuck with her standard cute look.

Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan both suited up to film Money Never Sleeps yesterday in NYC. The off-screen couple was all smiles between takes, making it seem as though any possibility of trouble in their relationship is in the past. Carey's focused on her project with Shia, but her upcoming film An Education is getting amazing reviews.

Shia kept his script in one hand and his coffee in the other as he made his way from his trailer to get back to work with costar Michael Douglas. Shia's girlfriend Carey Mulligan appeared on The Late Show on Wednesday to promote her new film, An Education, which Buzz liked a lot.

The actress has returned to the West Coast after hitting up the political events in NYC last week. While there, Jessica announced her participation in 1GOAL, a new campaign to bring education to all children of South Africa as part of the 2010 World Cup.

Ben Affleck was joined by Rebecca Hall on Wednesday on the Boston set of The Town, while Jennifer Garner took a day off from park trips with her girls for a special trip to Washington DC. She was in the capitol as an ambassador for Save the Children, joining Representatives Hoyer and Nelson as they introduced a new education bill. Jennifer has opened up before about her passion for working with the kids' rights organization, and when she's East she often hops down to the capital to spread her philanthropic heart.

Heidi Klum draped her baby bump in a chic dress at the Get Schooled initiative conference hosted by Bill and Melinda Gates and their foundation in LA last night. Heidi looked especially happy considering she had Seal as her date for the event after recently talking about her "gentle giant" husband and her body in the final month of pregnancy. Her due date is right around the corner but she has three other kids to remind her of the importance of education especially during back to school time.
