Katie Holmes looks fresh-faced and gorgeous on the November cover of Elle. It's the "Women in Hollywood" issue, which, along with Katie, features Emily Blunt, Julianne Moore, Renee Zellweger, and Zoe Saldana. In the magazine, Katie talks a little about what it was like to be a mom working on Broadway as well as what kinds of movies she loves the best. Is someone angling for a cameo in Breaking Dawn? Here are highlights from Katie:

On family life "In my own life, my whole world really revolves around family. I do what I need to do, but it's like, 'How is everybody else doing?' And it's wonderful for me as an actress to put some of that into a character."

On being a working mom on Broadway during All My Sons: "Suri would sit in my lap in the makeup chair. She'd hand the wig lady the bobby pins."

On favorite designers: "I love Alaia, for sure. Stella McCartney. I like Ralph Lauren because I feel like it's very American, and I'm pretty all-American, from Ohio. Isabel Marant and a new designer, Sari Gueron."

On her favorite movies: "It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies – they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters. The minute it starts to feel not real, I'm not interested."

Victoria Brings Her Heels and Bikini to the Pages of Elle

Victoria Beckham struck a pose on a diving board for the subscriber's cover of October's Elle. We already got a peek at the newsstand version, and now there are even snaps of Posh from inside the issue. She sat down for an interview to discuss being apart from David while he played in Milan, as well as life in America and their boys. Here's more:

On life in America: "You know, I love America. It’s such a positive country. When people say to me, 'How long did it take for you to adjust? Poor you, it must’ve been really difficult' – poor me? I’m living in Beverly Hills. I’m very, very lucky. I wake up every morning and I recognize that I’m blessed."
On being apart from David while he was in Milan: "I felt like someone had chopped my arm off, to be completely honest. Everything we do, we do together. I very rarely go out on my own, unless it’s a work commitment.
On their private family life: "David and I have a working relationship together, and we also have a private life together. Someone used the example recently of Brad and Angelina. They might be in a movie together, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to let someone film them at home. I don’t do ‘at homes’ with my family. I don’t march my kids down red carpets. It’s just not how we choose to do things."

On her style: "There are celebrities who always look great, always look pretty, but it’s always the same hair, the same makeup, and I find that quite boring. I want to change it up, do something really creative. I think that might be why women like me."
On stories she got her breast implants replaces with a smaller size: "We should just not talk about each other’s boobs."
On her kids: "[They] bloody well will work. Same as myself, same as David. They’re not going to be the kind of kids that just hang about. I want them to be able to fulfill their passions, but I think it’s important that the children grow up and have respect for themselves."

Jennifer Aniston struck some hot poses and showed off her abs for Elle's September issue. The actress opens up to the magazine about the "brick walls" she had to break through during her childhood, and addresses her label as "the lonely girl." Here are some highlights:

On being labeled the "lonely girl": "I'm not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It's fine. I can take it. [I'm fully supportive of] anybody who is in a place that's not their strongest [but] is ready to push forward. If I'm the emblem for 'this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,' so be it. I can make fun of myself. And I'll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up."
On her mother's honesty: "I remember being 7 and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, 'Oh, honey, you're so funny.' So, she doesn't lie to me . . . She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength."
On her parents marriage: "[My parents made each other laugh] like nobody's business. I put a lot of value in that at a very young age. [The hardest part was] my dad walking out and not seeing him for a year and not knowing where he was . . . Trying to understand, 'Where did that person go?'"

Gwen Talks About No Doubt Tension and Her New Life

Gwen Stefani's back on the road with No Doubt, but she squeezed in time for an Elle photo shoot with Zuma. Her boys have joined her on tour and she talked about Kingston's personality plus how life has changed since she started out with her band. Here's more:

On Kingston: "It’s one thing when you have an infant, but when you have this two-or three-year-old going, ‘Mommy, what’s the deal?’ it’s harder. Kingston’s whole thing is, ‘I need, I need.’ He is insane right now. We’re just hoping for the best and that he’s not going to turn out to be a freak, but we’ll see."
On No Doubt: "Everybody’s making it like there’s all this new tension, you know, like I stepped away from the band and now they’re jealous of me, and look, maybe there is a little bit of that."
On how she's changed: "I wasn’t even married. Now I’m a wife and a mother of two. It’s a really different role. I always referred to No Doubt as a marriage, because that’s what it’s like to be together for so long and go through what we’ve been through. I can’t really have that relationship with them anymore. My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now. That’s a huge, huge thing."

Megan Fox Saunters Onto Elle's Body Issue Cover

Megan Fox looks sultry and sexy on the June cover of Elle magazine. The new Transformers trailer came out last week, and it looks like Miss Fox gets more of a chance to show off her acting skills this time around. Of course, everyone's still interested in her offscreen life, which she talks a bit about to the magazine. Here are highlights:

On maturing early: "I've lived the life of a 35-year-old since I was 18. I'm so suspicious of boys-slash-men. I just don't like them or trust them."
On teasing male writers with her supposed naughty past: "They're boys; they're easily toyed with. I tell stories and have them eating out of my hand."

There's something refreshing about the ways she is able to use her sexuality to her advantage and still have a sense of humor about it - though I have a feeling there's a certain contingent of Fox fanatics out there who are too busy staring at her sexy photos to read her quotes just yet.

Drew Barrymore Is Ready to Get Scared Again

Drew Barrymore gives us a friendly smirk on the May cover of Elle magazine. She's out continuing to promote her upcoming HBO film Grey Gardens, which debuts on April 18. She opened up a little about her personal life before touching on her acting career and how she promised to transform herself for the role. Here's more:

On her breakup from Fabrizio: "It's hard to be with someone for five years and say, 'This isn’t going to work.' But it was a time in my life where I finally just said, 'I can’t live for anyone else anymore.' I have to be on my own."
On her career: "I’m in my thirties now, and I really want to try all the things that I haven’t gotten to do yet, like directing, and doing a drama. I’ve produced and gotten to do a lot of optimistic love stories, and that was so where I was at for 10 years in my life. And now I feel like, Okay, now I know how to do that. I wanted to get scared again."

On preparing for her role in Grey Gardens: "I knew this was not a courtesy meeting, but not far from it. I didn’t want to come in there like a hungry freak. But I also felt every second counting. So - polite conversation, then he started looking through my binder, and I saw his demeanor change, actually noticing all the hard work I had put into it. So I just put it out there. I said, 'Look - I have all of this inside of me, and I promise you that I will change my face to be her. I will learn how to stop talking out of the side of my mouth. I will go to school to relearn body language. I will shut out the world. I will not talk to my friends. I will give up my life for this, because I don’t think you can play this character and have a social life and balance the two mentalities. I won’t act. I’ll become this person.'"

Drew has mentioned before how hard her breakup with Fabrizio was, but she seems to be moving on with her recently rekindled interest in Justin Long. It'll be interesting to see her take on more serious roles, but Drew's not done with romantic comedies just yet.

Reese Is Made of Cookies and Thinks Jake Is Fabulous

Reese Witherspoon looks fresh-faced and beautiful on the April cover of Elle. She's been busy with her charity work, and now it's time to promote Monsters vs. Aliens, which comes out at the end of March. In her interview she talks about both Ryan Phillippe and Jake Gyllenhaal, while also giving tidbits about her life as a young mother. Here are some highlights:

On her divorce from Ryan: "Very humiliating and very isolating . . . But, by the way, if it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions. When people get in your face and say, 'This will pass,' you think, Are they crazy? I’m never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing's ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I'm like, Nothing's ever gonna make sense again."
On Jake: "He's fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy. Unfortunately, he's not in the movie, so we can't really talk about him."
On her personality: "I don’t think I'm a control freak. I think I'm just fearful. I operate from a lot of fear, like, of things being lost or forgotten or neglected. Losing the spiritual rather than the physical. It's so funny to me that somehow I've been portrayed as a very, like, closed-off or uptight person. I'm very open."
On being a young mom: "When I first had Ava, I couldn't afford [help]. And it was so hard. I was out in Los Angeles, living [away from my family]. I really didn't have any friends. And I had a baby. No one else who was 22 had a baby. I couldn't go out."

Reese also denied that she's obsessed with her diet, saying she's "made of cookies" and "a lot of red wine," which sounds like our kind of girl.

After making Marley & Me a big hit here in the states, she and Owen are now busy promoting their movie all over the world. In the issue, Jen talks about her eating habits, her dream role, and why she can't win with the Brad questions. Here are highlights:

On her divorce:: "No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won’t let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over. I don’t owe anybody anything. I don’t owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story. It’s just not the case."
On her diet: "I'm a realist. I know that if I eat nothing but burgers and chips, I’m not going to be hired for the parts I normally would. That might be fine one day, but not right now."
On being happy: "I remind myself every day that I am lucky. Look what’s out there. Look what people are really living through. There’s no comparison. I am happy."
On movie roles: "I get offered funny, quirky, pretty roles. I’d love to do an action movie. James Bond! Glamour! Daniel Craig! Sh*t-loads of fun!"

Considering how hot Jen looks these days, we think she'd be a perfect Bond girl kicking butt alongside Daniel Craig in the next 007 movie.

Jessica Alba made us laugh this weekend on the Post Super Bowl Office but she got down to business and showed her emotions for Elle. As the March cover girl, the actress talks about her family, her looks, and how she lost the baby weight so quickly. Here are highlights:

On giving birth: "Contractions aren’t that bad. If you’ve ever had bad cramps? That’s what they’re like. But that moment when they put the baby on your chest – that’s deep. It’s a deep experience."
On snapping back into shape so quickly after giving birth: "I did it for the Campari job. [The workouts] were horrible. I cried. And I haven’t worked out since."
On having an exotic look: "Anyone who’s part of pop culture is going to be sensationalized and spun into something, some one-liner. Also, there aren’t many other stars, besides Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez, who most people in the world can relate to. We look like people of the world – I can kind of mix in with girls in Asia, South America, Europe."

On fashion: "I’ve always loved beautiful clothes, but I’m not very hip to the coolest, newest, most fashionable thing. As a kid, I bought random, thrift store stuff and hoped that it worked. Sometimes it didn’t."
On her husband having a say in what she wears: "Whether I’m dressed as a boy or wearing a gown, he’s pretty cool about it all. He doesn’t want to change me. He’s always like, “Okay, whatever makes you happy."
