Matt Damon Gets Adjusted to His NYC Schedule
Matt Damon was back in his long coat yesterday to keep working on The Adjustment Bureau in NYC. His costar Emily Blunt wasn't by his side, unlike other afternoons of filming, but Matt had a few members of the crew around for company and laughs. It was Jon Voight who appeared with him last night at the Children at Heart benefit gala, during Matt's most recent evening out after a long day on set.
Tom Works Night and Day While Suri Shops With Katie
Katie Holmes left Long Island, where she had been working on The Romantics and headed into NYC for a weekend with Suri. The girls were out to see The Lion King on Friday night, with little Suri looking sleepy as they left the theater together. Saturday they bundled up in coats for a few long walks with Katie's mom, and Suri showed off her red dress from the children's Holmes and Yang and green backpack.
Katie Has Something to Talk About During New Moon
Suri Cruise was carried around the Long Island set of The Romantics by her mom Katie Holmes yesterday. Little Suri showed off a few of her adorable faces as they strolled from Katie's trailer to over where Josh Duhamel and Adam Brody were hanging out between scenes. Adam was in his suit as he chatted on the phone, though Josh was a little more active tossing a football around with members of the crew.
Natalie Portman Pursues Love and Other Things in Toronto
Natalie Portman headed to Canada yesterday to join the fun at the Toronto Film Festival. She went casual in a white top in the afternoon for a press conference promoting her film Love and Other Impossible Pursuits, which we saw her filming last year back when it was called 17 Photos of Isabel. By evening Natalie was decked out in a pink Lanvin number to join costar Lisa Kudrow for a red carpet premiere.
Diane and Jared Are Two Somebodies in Venice
The glamour continued at the Venice Film Festival earlier today with Diane Kruger and a very handsome-looking Jared Leto stepping out for a photo call to support their film Mr. Nobody. The were decked out later in the afternoon as well for a premiere alongside costars Sarah Polley and Linh Dan Pham. A few of the cinema event's big names, like George Clooney and Matt Damon, have already moved on to promote their films back in North America, but Diane's still keeping the star factor high in Italy.
Carey Skips a Night With Her Brothers to Be With Shia
Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan were at work on Money Never Sleeps in NYC over the weekend. This time they didn't show off any cute PDA on set, but the two are still going strong. Carey is becoming quite the hot commodity these days — she has multiple projects in the pipeline, but her busy schedule kept her away from Sunday night's premiere of Brothers.
Jennifer, Rob and Ricky Invent Lies at TIFF
Jennifer Garner joined her costars Ricky Gervais and Rob Lowe to premiere The Invention of Lying at TIFF yesterday. At the press conference earlier in the day, Jennifer teased Ricky who wrote, directed and acted in the film, for often ruining takes with his loud shrill giggle. Jen also said she's not planning on working with her husband Ben Affleck again, although "life is long" so she's not ruling it out for the future.
TIFF Draws a Star-Studded Crowd
Many celebrities headed up north to Canada this weekend for the Toronto Film Festival. Matt Damon and George Clooney arrived fresh off their Venice Film Festival appearances, and Penelope Cruz joined in on the fun. Kate and Ryder Are on Cloud Nine After the Circus
Kate Hudson brought Ryder out in Santa Monica last night to take in a performance from Cirque du Soleil. Despite Kate's hectic schedule promoting Nine, she's had lots of time to spend with her son during their trip to California. Alex Rodriguez, though, was the guy by Kate's side on Sunday at the American Music Awards.
Zac Efron Talks Orson Welles With David Letterman
Zac Efron looked dapper in his suit last night as he greeted fans on the way into The Late Show in NYC. He joined David Letterman to talk about Me & Orson Welles — check out video from Zac's appearance after the jump.
