Today comes news of his two latest projects: first, he's <a href="http://www.heatvisionblog.com/2010/01/zac-efron-to-star-in-spy-thriller-from-marvel-scribe-brian-micheal-bendis.html">signed on to star in Fire</a>, based on the graphic novel by Brian Michael Bendis, and he also has <a href="http://www.deadline.com/hollywood/exclusive-zac-efron-picks-pair-of-projects/">another project lined up, called Algorithm</a>. Efron has been trying to make a move to more serious fare, like last Fall's <a href="http://www.buzzsugar.com/6377398">Me and Orson Welles</a>, and I'm wondering if he'll be able to make an easy transition out of the 'tween spectrum and into more legitimate movie star territory.
