RIP Bea Arthur

Bea Arthur passed away today at her LA home with family by her side. The actress best known as Dorothy on The Golden Girls was 86 years old and had been battling cancer. Dan Watt, Bea's personal assistant and family spokesman said, "She was a brilliant and witty woman. Bea will always have a special place in my heart." Our hearts go out to her family and friends at this difficult time.

Golden Girl Estelle Getty Passes Away at 84

Actress Estelle Getty, most beloved for playing sassy Sophia on Golden Girls, passed away early this morning. She had been suffering from advanced dementia and was at her home in LA at the time. Her son had this to say, "She was loved throughout the world in six continents, and if they loved sitcoms in Antarctica she would have been loved on seven continents. She was one of the most talented comedic actresses who ever lived." Our thoughts are with her loved ones, she will be missed.

Spice Girls Are Golden Overseas

The Spice Girls glittered in gold at their first performance back in the UK on Saturday night. Becks and the boys were in the house once again to wave and cheer on their Posh Spice, and we have a feeling the energy was high with the rest of their loyal British fans (like Gordon Ramsay) as well. Injured Emma wasn't about to let her ankle get in the way of her homecoming and hobbled her way through the choreography. Overall, it looks like the ladies were greeted with a warm welcome and that they're still winning hearts of fans all over the world even after all these years.

Ashley Judd Is A Golden (Globes) Girl, Too

Ashley Judd was bundled waaaaaay up shooting Helen up in Vancouver on Monday. She won't be up there for long, however, because she's set to get glammed up bright and early on Thursday morning to help Hayden Panettiere announce the Golden Globe nominees. I'm getting pretty excited to learn who scores big this year - the Golden Globes are always a fun group and a good signifier for who's gonna get those Oscar nods. You've all seemed pretty split about your favorite performances, films and shows of the year, so now we'll just sit tight and see whose names are on the list. Unfortunately, the award ceremony is facing an uncertain future. The SAG Awards asked the WGA to refrain from picketing their show and allow a writer to help out and the WGA complied. The Golden Globes asked for the same allowance, but have yet to hear back. At the very least, this should make for an interesting award season.

Lindsay is at yet another event. This time it is the Armani Exchange and Nylon Summer Soiree. I wonder why she feels the need to go to everything? Certainly an event like this would not be benefiting her career that much. As for the outfit, the biker shorts are UGLY but the too tan golden look is even worse. As usual, love her bag and shoes.

Twilight won big at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, which was especially exciting for Peter Facinelli, who had never been before! He joked on the red carpet about his 15 years in the business with no visits to the fun show, but he was super excited to join the rest of the cast for their successful night. He gushed about being close to his costars saying, "I've had these guys over to my house for poker. We have dinner with each other. We're kind of like a family on and off set. It's kind of nice." Before he got to accept his golden popcorn, the actor who plays the Cullen family patriarch had to answer the hard questions - as a father of three girls with Jennie Garth, would he choose Edward or Jacob for his own girls? Also, do they have crushes on Robert Pattinson yet? Check out his answers below.
