Patrick Dempsey Juggles Multiple Projects on GMA

Patrick Dempsey attended Reese Witherspoon's Avon benefit last night, and he was by the actress's side again today to appear on Good Morning America before heading out to do some shopping. Reese was on the show to chat about her new fragrance, while Patrick opened up about his own work with the cosmetics company as well as this season of Grey's Anatomy. He showed off a preview of tomorrow night's episode before going on to reveal that he's developing a new pilot with his wife based on her experiences in cosmetology school.

Ellen Works Out and Gets Back to Work as Meredith Grey

Ellen Pompeo spent some time away from baby Stella to take a yoga class in LA yesterday. She stayed fit all through her pregnancy so it's not a surprise that she's already back to working out. The new mom will also be back to work on Grey's Anatomy soon so Seattle Grace won't be without Meredith for a single episode. The Cameras Keep Rolling For Izzie and Meredith

The cast has been putting in long hours as they start the new season, including a recent afternoon spent filming George's funeral scene. The Doctors of Seattle Grace Have a Funeral to Attend

The cast of Grey's Anatomy was back to work on set in LA yesterday. The group was filming a funeral scene for George O'Malley who everyone knows is off the show especially after his dramatic EW cover last week. Fresh off a successful weekend at the box office, Katherine Heigl was back in the thick of playing Izzie Stevens as a cancer survivor. Despite the grueling 17-hour days, Katherine looked happy to be back with all her costars. Ellen Pompeo's baby bump is going to be impossible to ignore when the show is back in the Fall and she looked perfectly cute in her tight black dress as she and Katherine were engrossed in their phones between takes. It wasn't all about the women however - Justin Chambers and Patrick Dempsey also acted in the scenes to pay their respects to George.

Are You Surprised by T.R. Knight's Comments About Grey's?

T.R. Knight landed on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, finally opening up about his big decision to leave Grey's Anatomy. He essentially chalks up the move to his disagreements with the show's executive producer, Shonda Rimes, and the fallout from Isaiah Washington's profanity-laced tirade in 2006. He said:

On his frustration: "My five-year experience proved to me that I could not trust any answer that was given [about George]."
On coming out publicly after Isaiah's incident: "I think she was concerned about having my statement come out so close to the [initial] event."
On leaving his $14 million contract: "From an outsider's perspective, I get the [impression that] 'He’s just a spoiled actor…he doesn’t know how good he has it. There are a lot of people who would like to be in my position. But in the end, I need to be fulfilled in my work."

It's interesting to finally hear the backstory after years of rumors about the show and its cast, so tell us - are you surprised T.R. Knight is finally making a comment?

Do You Think Grey's Has Its Groove Back?

Just like you, we were totally down on Grey's Anatomy at the beginning of the season, and were ready for it to be over, ghost sex and all. Then, all of a sudden over the past few weeks, we're totally wrapped up in it again. Shonda promised us that the Izzie plot line was going somewhere interesting - we're on the edge of our seats, and it goes without saying there are tears at the end of the episode.

They even found a way to breathe captivating new drama into Meredith and Derek's relationship. On the other hand, it took an awful lot of bad episodes to finally return to the good, and this show has tricked us into loving it before. So tell us, with another heart-wrenching episode tonight - do you think Grey's has its groove back?

Seems that her outing was more exciting than this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, which was pretty blah. Should Isaiah Washington Stay Out of the Grey's Drama?

Brooke Smith was abruptly let go from the cast of Grey's Anatomy after last week's episode. While the details are sketchy, there are a lot of stories correlating her departure with her on-screen homosexuality. Isaiah Washington, who was fired from the show last year, spoke out about her write-off, calling it "disgusting" and saying that the show could be redeemed by bringing back his character. What do you think - should Isaiah just stay out of all the drama?

The Cast of Grey's Slip Back Into Their Scrubs

The doctors of Seattle Grace were back to their familiar blue attire to shoot a few scenes for Grey's Anatomy in LA yesterday. Eric Dane and Patrick Dempsey goofed around outside on the patio, though McDreamy didn't seem all that impressed with McSteamy's bulging biceps. The atmosphere must be a lot lighter for Katherine Heigl now, too, since she doesn't have to worry about her character getting killed off by a brain tumor. Now that next season's plot is back to being a mystery, we're even more excited for the Fall to get started.
