It's a Girl For Nicole and Joel!
People was the first to report that Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby girl today at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. She and Joel named their first born Harlow Winter Kate Madden, who came in at 6 lbs and 7 oz. Their rep says that baby Harlow is already back at home with Nicole and Joel.
Nicole and Joel Stay Stylish on Opposite Ends of the Globe
Joel Madden got his family Halloween fix earlier this week before jetting off to Australia, where he was spotted with Benji today. Nicole is holding down the fort with Harlow and Sparrow back in LA, but still made it to her salon appointment yesterday. Nicole has been hard at work designing for her upcoming Winter Kate clothing line and House of Harlow shoes while Joel focuses on his music, but he proved to be her biggest supporter by recently saying how much he loves Nicole's style.
Nicole and Joel Dig In and Lend a Hand For Charity
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden spent a few hours away from adorable Sparrow and Harlow yesterday to help out some other deserving kids at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Beyond Shelter organization in LA. The couple is deeply involved in children's charities, especially their own Richie-Madden Foundation. After the event, Nicole tweeted an appreciative note to the volunteers saying, "It felt great to be back.
The Stars Make Walking the Red Carpet an Art of Elysium
The Art of Elysium gala proved that the Golden Globes wasn't the only red carpet full of glammed up celebrities this weekend. The non-profit organization hosted their annual star-studded fete in LA on Saturday and Eva Mendes was the honorary guest being recognized for her charity work. Courteney Cox looked lovely in her white dress with David Arquette by her side.

Mary-Kate Gets Cozy on the Tour Bus with Joel Madden?
Joel Madden was out and about NYC last night, but the two loves of his life were nowhere to be found. Instead, he hung out with a group of friends, including Mary-Kate Olsen, with whom he smoked cigarettes and gave a tour of the Good Charlotte bus. We know that Nicole and Joel are pals with the Olsens, so we're going to assume there's nothing shady going on here between the old friends.
