New Moon Breaks Midnight Box Office Record!
It's official — all that promotion paid off! Summit Entertainment just released the news that New Moon had the biggest midnight opening of all time, raking in an estimated $26.27 million last night! It beat out Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as well as The Dark Knight.
Emma, Daniel & Rupert Return to NYC With Their Latest Harry
The cast of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hit New York City last night to show off their film to the eagerly awaiting American audience. Emma Watson led the show with her impeccable fashion sense, but luckily this time she skipped any wardrobe malfunctions as she chatted about hoping her college roommate isn't a huge Harry Potter fan . Emma was flanked by Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint who were joined by fans like Michelle Trachtenberg and Lance Bass.

Sure, we're on a bit of an Emma Watson kick, but she is such a welcome respite from our usual batch of starlets. I can only hope that she sticks around after the Harry Potter series has reached its end. Yesterday morning she stopped by The Today Show to chat with Ann Curry, stepping out of her Chanel dresses looking cute and preppy.
