Keri Russell and Jessica Alba teamed up for Child Watch Day in Washington DC yesterday. The moms were in the capital to attend a meeting about children's healthcare reform before joining a group of kids for story time. Jess has been in the city doing some sightseeing with Cash and their daughter Honor, while we haven't spotted growing River or his dad Shane.

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were in character Thursday as they filmed The Other Guys in NYC. We usually see Mark starring in action movies like Max Payne or serious ones like the forthcoming The Lovely Bones, but it should be interesting to see what happens when he pairs up with funny Will. The former SNL actor recently showed off his comedic chops in a tongue-in-check PSA tackling healthcare reform, which might not be a topic Will and Mark will be addressing much in their current project.

Jon Hamm had his plaid shirt unbuttoned just enough to show a little chest yesterday morning as he stepped out of his LA home. While things got a little gruesome on Sunday's episode of Mad Men, Jon was busy celebrating with his costars at the Emmys afterparties. The cast and crew toasted to their series receiving the Best Drama award for the second year running.

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes were hand-in-hand yesterday at Heathrow airport. The girls arrived in London with David and Rocco last week after their trip to Malawi to adopt Mercy James. Along with her legal appeal, this weekend she e-mailed the country's The Nation newspaper to explain her motives.

Scarlett Johansson spent some time in the wilderness in a photoshoot reminiscent of her new album cover contemplating life and men for Paste magazine. Sure, she looks cute in that red dress, but we're too busy trying to picture her wedding gown already. In the article titled "My Five Dads" Scarlett keeps quiet about her new fiancé Ryan Reynolds (boo), but she dishes on the men she considers father figures: Bill Murray, Woody Allen, Tom Waits, Barack Obama, and Bob Dylan.
