VF Debuts Its Interview With Vampire Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson headed to Japan this weekend, as the cast of New Moon begins to promote the film before its release on Nov. 20. Earlier this year, Robert took a break from work on Remember Me to pose at a photo shoot for December's Vanity Fair - and here's a peek at the final product! We also have a preview from Rob's interview, in which he opens up about Kristen, their rumored romance, and all the attention he receives. Here's more:

On Kristen: "She’s influenced how I've done all the Twilight stuff. It's quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything."
On rumors of their relationship: "It doesn't make any difference what you say. . . . I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'"
On all the uproar surrounding him: "I guess I'm not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise . . . I'm not much of a crowd person."

Ashley Olsen wasn't showing any signs of stress from the current economy shopping at the Hermes store in LA yesterday - getting a start on holiday shopping perhaps? She's not the only one with a generous spirit, Fab's giving away eight signed copies of Mary-Kate and Ashley's gorgeous new book Influence. It would make an excellent present for anyone, or a fabulous addition to your coffee table. Seeing how chic Ashley looks, there's certainly nothing wrong with a little Olsen influence.

Nicole's Positive Influences?

Paris and Britney may be making the rounds these days but Paris and Nicole are still reunited BFFs. They always seem to come back to each other even after their many feuds. Some people, however, think Paris is a bad influence on Nicole. Rachel Zoe happens to be one of them. We were surprised to hear that Nicole had dumped her celebrity stylist, since she "wanted to surround herself with positive people and influences." But Rachel's friends evidently say that Paris is actually the one that needs to be dumped. Here's more:

Nicole didn't trust Rachel anymore," according to a magazine source. However, a friend of Zoe told Page Six, "Please - and Paris Hilton, her new best friend [after a long estrangement], is a good influence? Give me a break. Rachel was acting as a concerned friend and voiced her concerns to Nicole about her lifestyle, and Nicole didn't want to hear it."

It's not the first time we've heard this before. Paris just doesn't seem to be a good influence on anyone! Well, at least she's encouraging Nicole to eat! For more pics of the two just read more

The Olsens Have Double the Fun

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen continued to promote Influence at a Borders autograph signing in Westwood yesterday. The girls looked like they were having a blast together as they laughed and each displayed the book with themselves on the cover, ignoring the PETA protesters outside. Ashley took a turn with the black YSL pumps as MK kept it funky with her cutout black boots. Both twins looked fabulous and put together out to greet their fans and promote their pretty book, which would make the perfect holiday gift for the fashion-loving women in your life.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen launched their new book, Influence, together at Barneys in NYC last night. Both ladies showed off their legs, but Ashley stood out in red while Mary-Kate hopped on the dark and spooky celebrity trend. Today they went a little more casual to meet fans and sign copies of their book at Barnes & Noble. The twins are looking so grownup these days, and we're sure their newest business venture will be just another successful part of their already huge empire.

Taylor Momsen Spotted Taking a Walk on the Willa Side

Onscreen siblings Penn Badgley and Taylor Momsen filmed scenes for Gossip Girl yesterday and today in NYC, joined by Willa Holland, who you might recognize as The OC's Kaitlin Cooper. Willa is guest starring on GG playing a model named Agnes who turns out to be a bad influence on Jenny Humphrey. Thing got pretty dramatic filming last night and, judging by Willa's Georgina-esque outfit and tough girl stare, looks like we might have another badass to stir things up on the Upper East Side.

It was a rare outing for Mandy, who's been busy settling into married life with Ryan Adams. She opened up about their relationship, saying, "I’m learning every day. I’m lucky because I get to spend every day with my best friend and he’s a great influence." Ryan gave Mandy some advice when it came to her recent music endeavors, and maybe their romance can inspire her acting in her next big screen performance.
