Brad Pitt Takes His Energy From Berlin to Hollywood

Brad Pitt and his mustache filmed scenes for Inglorious Bastards with Quentin Tarantino in Berlin earlier this week before being spotted back in Hollywood last night. With Angelina's surprise appearance in LA on Tuesday and trip to Afghanistan, the family is bouncing all over the world as usual. Wyclef Jean said his wife and daughter recently had a playdate with the Jolie-Pitts in California and that Knox "has Brad's energy." Sounds like Angie and Brad's love of relocating isn't the only thing the kids will be learning from mom and dad.

Brad and Quentin Hit Tarantino's For an Inglorious Cast Dinner

Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino joined the rest of the guys from Inglorious Bastards for dinner at the aptly named Tarantino's restaurant in Berlin last night. Unfortunately, no Diane Kruger this time. Brad showed off his mustache for the role - who wore it better, Brad or George Clooney? - though you can get a much better first look at him in character here. While we're excited to hear more about this unique-sounding project, Brad's already signed on for another one. He'll be starring in a big screen adaptation of The Odyssey, set in space. It'll be interesting to see how that turns out and where the Jolie-Pitt family will be packing up and moving next to join dad on set.

Brad Pitt Moves His Glorious Family to Germany

Brad Pitt popped up in Germany yesterday for a meeting with Quentin Tarantino, Diane Kruger and more of the Inglorious Bastards cast at a restaurant in Berlin before stopping by the studio in Potsdam this morning. After getting goofy in France on Tuesday, he moved the entire Jolie-Pitt family to Germany and set up shop in a fancy new Villa at the Palais Parkschloss on Wannsee Lake. The actor will be one of the few people speaking English in the WWII movie, so should be an interesting experience for Brad and yet another country the jet-setting family can explore.

Brad Braves the Cold and Holiday Gift Giving

Brad Pitt snuggled into his warm jacket and scarf after dining in Berlin yesterday. Looks like Brad will be busy on the set of Inglorious Bastards right until it's time to celebrate with that adorable party of six, but we'd expect nothing less from the hardest working celebrity of 2008. Brad recently opened up about his family's gift-giving system and their plans for settling down. Here's more:

On settling down in France: "I've been dragging them all from continent to continent lately, so we're going to have to give them a break soon. For the long term, right now, we're choosing France. It's good living there, a really nice way of life. It's a place where the kids can run free and not be hassled – we have a good relationship with the locals, and it's a good base for the family."
On holiday presents: "We do exchange gifts, although we don't feel any pressure to make them big or expensive gifts. The kids don't ask for big gifts for the reason that they don't see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic. When they do see that stuff is when they start asking for the toys, so we figure if they don't see them they won't know they're there. So we have gifts, but we try to keep the money spent to a minimum. The rule is that everyone's got to make something for someone else, you got to put time into it."
On his children: "I look down at the family and I see our boy from Vietnam, and our daughter from Ethiopia, and our girl's from Namibia,and our son who's from Cambodia, and . . . they are all brothers and sisters, man. They are all the same blood. It is such elation to see them all living together, and getting along together, and to know that we were able to give them a home - in some cases, to give them a life. It's a wonderful thing that we are able to do this because of the jobs we have - and it's a selfish thing, too, because the rewards are extraordinary."

Angelina Smiles With Brad but Gets Sad About Her Mom

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stepped out side-by-side in London today for a Changeling photo call. Angelina opened up a bit about her mother during the press conference, a subject that got her choked up (check out the video after the jump). She said, "She was really sweet and was never angry - she couldn't swear to save her life. But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this is very much her, her story. She was the woman I related to, who had that elegance and strength through just knowing what was right." Angelina also said that there are more kids on the way and that she spent most of the past year "in pajamas and coloring." Things will probably only get busier for the Jolie-Pitts as Brad continues filming Inglorious Bastards and starts promoting The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but so far it looks like he and Angelina are doing a good job meeting up all over the world.

The Jolie-Pitts Globe Trot Back to France

Just like that, the Jolie-Pitts are back in France. The family arrived at the Nice airport in their pajamas early this morning after an all-night flight. We were just reveling in seeing Angelina and Brad cuddling and watching Maddox and Pax play in New Orleans, but it looks like they were using up all their energy before the long plane ride. The family of eight filed out one by one with Brad and Angelina juggling the twins in their car seats. The family is back in their French home for the next week or so before they return to Germany where Brad will be filming Inglorious Bastards. Just another whirlwind week around the world for the Jolie-Pitts and their six jet-setting children.

Angelina, Brad and the Kids Arrive in New York!

Angelina, Brad and the rest of the Jolie-Pitt family arrived in Manhattan last night before Angie's Saturday premiere of Changeling. The family flew in from Germany where they just started living while Brad films Inglorious Bastards after spending the Summer in France. Shiloh looked adorable and sleepy after the long flight while Brad carried in Zahara and one of the twins in the carseat. We've heard news of Angelina the past few months, from the large donations that have been given to rumors of trouble between her and Brad, but it's fantastic to get a peek at her after all of this time. Hopefully we'll see more of the Jolie-Pitts as they play around the Big Apple, but for now it's great to get a glimpse at the family arriving back in the states.
