The Stanford Inn, an eco-friendly resort in Mendocino, CA, offers an idyllic escape from high-speed city life. Burrowed in a thick redwood forest and overlooking an amazing seascape of the Pacific, the Stanford Inn is a quintessential Fall relaxation spot for nature aficionados (and is pet friendly, too).

When I stayed there recently, I found the air quality to be unlike anything I have ever smelled: a fresh, dewy mix of the salty sea and redwood trees. All of the rooms have ocean views and overlook the large vegetable garden, which supplies ingredients to the the Ravens' Restaurant, an acclaimed organic, vegetarian restaurant.

Robert Pattinson was able to spend his holiday break at home in London with friends and family. On Saturday, he linked up with some old pals for an evening at a pub! He was seen chatting with friends, including one brunette girl, while drinking a couple beers at the Sun Inn. He stayed out until past midnight, but apparently still spent Christmas Sunday morning with his parents Clare and Richard. Robert left his childhood home this morning, though, already looking toward his next fun night coming up on New Year's Eve.

With Fall upon us, I've been dreaming of the Northeast and all the gorgeous warm colors the season brings to the leaves. Gavin Has Kingston and Zuma by His Side For a Performance at The Malibu Inn

Gavin Rossdale brought his sons, Kingston and Zuma, to the grand reopening of The Malibu Inn last night. The Stefani-Rossdales have a special link to the seaside town - Zuma is named for one of its most popular beaches! Gavin carried his youngest as Kingston followed close by, and once inside, the hot dad took the stage solo to perform a few songs. The guys' night out followed some family fun with Gwen Stefani earlier this week, when the foursome stepped out for lunch together. The proud parents have been spending the first days of Summer close to home, although Gavin taped a guest role on Burn Notice just a few weeks ago in Miami. The weather in LA is due to heat up for the Fourth of July weekend, so perhaps the Stefani-Rossdales will hit the beach in honor of the Summer holiday.
