Details. He's out and about talking about his latest album, Battle Studies, but in typical Mayer fashion John didn't only speak about business. Just like in
his recent interview with the New York Times, John quickly got candid about his personal life.

You know what, this is the first interview of his I've ever read that I liked. "I'm not exactly Bob Dylan" He really seems self aware here.

8I don't buy John Mayer, this is his version of being self deprecating and damage control. It's like he doesn't care until his album is going to be released. I (think) I understand his sense of humor but it doesn't make me like him more and I don't think he knows who he is or what/who he is supposed to be. He was supposed to be dorky/humble/smart folksy pop muscian but he has morphed into "wannnabe cover model but don't really fit the profile John."
He needs to be more humble and then he will be 'real' and successful, until then he is still a fame_monger and the man who has been horrible to his "girlfriends."

He seems like the type of guy I would let manipulate me...lol...Smart enough to get himself in trouble but not as smart as he thinks. Seems to torture himself a lot. He's not too bad too look at though and he is a good musician. Hmmm, what else can I assume about this person I have never met and most likely never will...Guess thats about it.
