We're still sad about about the news that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have broken up, but John's got plenty of other stuff to keep his mind off his recent split. He's been working hard on his new album and Twittering away, and he also gave us an exclusive update on his new variety show project. He said:

John Mayer Fights His Battles on Twitter
John Mayer enjoyed a low-key dinner with friends in NYC last night. As always, he was active on Twitter this week — but instead of addressing rumors about his love life, John shared his thoughts about President Obama's attire during his appearance on The Late Show. John also apparently had an interview himself, as he starts getting out there to promote his latest album, Battle Studies, before its release on November 17.

John Mayer Maybe Moves On Again
John Mayer left LA's Hotel Café last night after a show where he debuted some of the new music he's been working on. One person who probably wasn't in the crowd was his rumored lady friend Scheana Marie Jancan, as she apparently hasn't heard from John since she gave a lengthy interview about their relationship last week. John's not always completely discreet about his personal life, but it's hard to blame him for being turned off by her big mouth.
John Talks to Ellen and Writes Jen a Special Birthday Song
Last week Jennifer Aniston stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and yesterday John Mayer's segment aired. He taped the interview before his busy weekend, which included celebrating Jen's birthday as well as performing and accepting two awards at the Grammys. John cutely talked about Jennifer's high-tech house, sleepovers, and romance.
