People magazine came out with its annual issue of the hottest guys in Hollywood, and leading the pack is this year's Sexiest Man Alive — Johnny Depp! He spent last night toasting his great friend Tim Burton at
a MoMA benefit, but today all eyes are on Johnny due to his latest accolade. This marks the second time Johnny takes home the title, though he shares the distinction with a few other guys.

Johnny Depp IS the sexiest man alive, so good choice. I'm just glad they didn't chose Robert Pattinson.

4I like that picture! Good Choice. Rob will make the cover for thier 25 under 25 cover he is too young. I think Ryan Reynolds would have been a good choice but it seems you have to be older to be People's Sexiest Man Alive.

7THANK GOODNESS that they picked someone who's esteemed in hollywood. sometimes i wonder what the thought process is for selecting the guy and as much as i love RP and folks like that - they havent been in the industry for as long and don't necessarily qualify as the sexiest alive

8BorgesMarque: To each their own, but really, Johnny Depp is hardly geriatric. In fact, he's only 46 and, well, men are... how to put this?...older than boys, so I don't think it's too inappropriate that he has been selected "Sexiest MAN".
9I mean no disrespect to your opinion but I think most females (and some males, too, of course) would actually find him devastatingly sexy and be more than happy to wake up next to him once in their lives.

36I think that Johnny Depp is amazingly gorgeous. He has always had such a wonderful rap behind him. I am still on the old school sexy like Sean Connery. He's got that hot accent, and a very distinguished man. He is rough and rugged but he appears to have a soft side.
37That's not to say that I don't think George Clooney and Richard Gere aren't hottie- because they are as well. I simply like to stick with the basics.
